  1. I think these trades are pretty fair, it's nice to shed the contracts and to get something for guys that were on their way out but I don't see anyone that they've acquired as being major players in the twins revival.
  2. He ain't bad but I think the twins viewed him as the heir apparent to morneau at one point so overall he's probably been a little disappointing
  3. Parmelee was a 1st rd draft pick and very good minor league player. I think he belongs in the underwhelming category
  4. .273 would still be pretty good for a 23 yr old rookie and plenty to be excited about. It would also be good enough for the 2nd best BA on the team.
  5. I'd rather see Hicks in CF and batting 9th than Schafer getting any ABs. Hicks' OBP isn't terrible and he plays a good enough OF. Not sure he has anything to prove at the AA level. Would've liked to see either Plouffe or Escobar traded so Santana could play SS the rest of the year and whichever of the former at 3B
  6. I remember reading a couple years ago that Minier had a ton of upside but he never makes it in any of the organizational top prospect ratings. What is his projection?
  7. I think the twins have hit rock bottom but it's going to be a long climb back up. Also, think their wealth of prospects makes them more reluctant to spend money in the off season which makes sense but probably slows down the climb. Also, seeing Mauer less relevant to their future because of it. But, yes, finally seeing how some of these prospects pan out will be entertaining.
