    The first yank for Duffy. Lucky he not go from 0-2 to a walk. Lucky he got an out. Lucky Louie wasn’t injured. They gotta stop choking on throws.

    Duffy. I’d say we have a one in three chance of winning . How many pitches for Duran!?About 12 max? At least this loss wouldn’t be as bad as the failure to sweep the Sox..

    Agree with booth. Too many non fast balls from Duran.

    Why do we always have these guys they can’t get out? Often former Twins. Garver not so much so far. I fear him coming up now.

    Again game after game pitching so careful to 8-9 batters often walks then hurt by the top of the lineup. I can’t understand it. And Jeffers not having the insight to pull up and avoid a DP and running right into it.

    As I said the other night the managerial blunder in not focusing on getting 3 stinking outs to sweep and drive the Sox way down and instead save their best pitching option for future big moments that may never come would probably serve to kick off a losing streak … so far so good. Could be fatal as far as winning this division goes.

    Speaking of the pen, what did we get for Rogers other than the “starter we needed” who immediately blew out his elbow? The FO has done some good but San Diego saw them coming on that one.

    I expected no less. Bad stupid beats like our last lead to losing streaks and maybe season unraveling. If they pull it now maybe the opposite .

    My new topic is an old topic we have many of us been gagging on for several days now. Many times if I carp or pick at Rocco I know that I may be missing something, he might have a bigger perspective etc. Not this time. We had a chance to gain two in the standings versus the Sox (3-0 versus 2-1 ) in the recent series. Why in the world did he not send Duran out for the 9th after he mowed them down on few pitches in the 8th? I reluctantly bow to him on all this saving them for important games late in season stuff. But this was a super important game. Why could he not realize THIS was late in the season and what he was saved for? Now Duran is ready for a so-so game against Texas that he might not be needed for anyway. If it comes down to where we needed those two games in the end but didn’t have them we will remember this colossal miscalculation. That being said, I like Rocco and don’t want him fired. But I have never wanted any Twins manager fired. I just want them to do better and avoid huge blunders.

    No Duran for a second inning though he threw just a few pitches. No PH for Jeffers when you have great options on the beach. Come on! If Rocco has some long game reasoning (I’ll go with this stuff a lot assuming he knows better than me) but there is no way this wasn’t just plain dumb. Sometimes you gotta realize how big this one game was.

    Sox could have pushed down so far they might have never recovered. Can you imagine how it could help their morale? Thanks manager.

    There must be a reason for no ph for Jeffers. There better be.. And now we see he puts in a guy with control problems to finish off the big screwup. Wild pitch was in predictable. Why not Duran again? And a bunch of other why nots. This one is on the manager . Very bad. Half a dozen dumb moves.

    Couldn’t have PH for Jeffers. There’s a high percentage for scoring in this dumb runner already on second deal. Doesn’t look good. Had a chance to push the Sox into the ditch.

    So close to having Cleveland and Sox well in the rear view mirror and keeps slipping.
