    Sometimes the 8th and 9th inning crunch time comes in the 6th or 7th. Rocco hasn’t gotten that memo.

    I thought it was stupid. Sure turned out that way. Why not not let Ryan try to get out of the inning when he’s pitching well? Bring this guy in instead to hang curveballs. Sheesh.

    Lopez didn’t deserve a save in tonight’s opening game versus Texas. Starts great, gets out, goes 1-2 on second batter and decides to not accept success. Typically starts nibbling and issues the walk that should have cost the game. Wake up! Buzz a representative fast ball in there. Anything. If he hits a homer it’s almost not as bad as a walk.

    You blame the good but dumb pitcher we had in there with one out to get and a two run lead and a 1-2 count who suddenly starts nibbling and walks a guy. I guess if you’re a relief pitcher traded to the Twins you have to sign up to be as dumb as the rest of them.

    Bremer points out this Sandy Leone only frames certain pitches. I like. I’ve always thought framing pitch after pitch only points out to the umpire that you’re framing pitches.

    Duffy is pretty pathetic. Just throw strikes in this situation. What’s so hard about it ? How dumb can you be.

    Sano is an albatross. If he can be somehow placed in St. Paul until some year when he pulls his head out okay. Otherwise is there anybody with so much relief pitchers they’d give one up to take a flyer on him? You just cannot have him on a team still trying to win a division without sabotaging yourself.
