I saw nothing in Larnach's defense that was good. He looks slow. Nothing great throwing the ball. Didn't hit much. Sloppy defense. Some of those can be coached. Some can't.
He Is a downgrade from Cave, IMO. We will miss Kepler if Larnach is our new rf.
I will hold onto my ballot until I see more, which I think he deserves. I think he gained confidence as the season wound down.
One guy who can play infield and outfield might be enough. Maybe it will be Gordon
Watch the playoff bullpen arms. The teams still playing. Go get us some of them. I could feel the energy as Chicago marched their bullpen arms in. I am 3000 miles away. The fans were energized too.
Rooker seems to think he doesn't have to pay attention to the details. Larnach too, imo. Both either don't know yet, or don't care that the little things can be game breakers.
Excessive shifting creates the need for versatile players. Putting guys out of their strength positions.
I want specialists playing in their best positions. Versatility is over rated, IMHO.
Yes to this, Squirrel. Let's enjoy his success. And Kepler's two home runs. And any other good things that we see happen on the field. Here's to hoping for more successes from any Twin.
