  1. I don't think Dobnak had a a good start after the sticky-stuff-spin-rate issue culminated.
  2. I might miss baseball, but as a fan. I won't suffer. I don't get that. I will actually save money.
  3. I saw nothing in Larnach's defense that was good. He looks slow. Nothing great throwing the ball. Didn't hit much. Sloppy defense. Some of those can be coached. Some can't. He Is a downgrade from Cave, IMO. We will miss Kepler if Larnach is our new rf.
  4. My cutter was a fastball with a little wrist twist which made it run horizontally.
  5. If they wouldn't have given Dobnak that contract he would be long gone.
  6. I don't miss him. But he is fun to watch when he is being successful. Go Eddie.
  7. It would be easy to replace Jorge's glove. His bat is why he is an all star. His bat is what makes him valuable.
  8. I will hold onto my ballot until I see more, which I think he deserves. I think he gained confidence as the season wound down. One guy who can play infield and outfield might be enough. Maybe it will be Gordon
  9. Yes on Jorge. Jip Jip Jorge. Wasn't he first brought up as a second baseman? The ss assignment was a mistake, imo.
  10. Watch the playoff bullpen arms. The teams still playing. Go get us some of them. I could feel the energy as Chicago marched their bullpen arms in. I am 3000 miles away. The fans were energized too.
  11. I don't want to see Jorge starting at SS. No. Gotta get better defender. Make ss a priority.
  12. Rooker seems to think he doesn't have to pay attention to the details. Larnach too, imo. Both either don't know yet, or don't care that the little things can be game breakers.
  13. Excessive shifting creates the need for versatile players. Putting guys out of their strength positions. I want specialists playing in their best positions. Versatility is over rated, IMHO.
  14. Yes to this, Squirrel. Let's enjoy his success. And Kepler's two home runs. And any other good things that we see happen on the field. Here's to hoping for more successes from any Twin.
  15. I wish someone would have edited Rocco's script to include an opportunity for Maggi to step onto the field while he was up/over.
