It isn't going to pass until this virus is under control. Flights are being suspended and it is estimated 75k+ people are infected. China could be due for a rough 2020. A severe slowdown in China will have cumulative effects around the world. Markets are going to continue falling until we know this situation is contained.

It is a bar set by a playoff team, that won a playoff game on the road. Low? Yes. Absolutely. Still a realistic picture of the talent at WR in the NFL. Shoot, Treadwell was cut twice and had a significant role in the Vikes this year.

After Diggs and Thielen, I'd take TJ over anyone on the WR corps. Would be great to have a big, physical, fast WR like DK Metcalf. TJ shredded the vaulted Auburn D, no reason he can't succeed in Sunday.

If anyone missed that catch.... you missed out on what has defined this team all year. No way I thought that was a catch in the moment, incredible. This game is defiantly helping Johnson's draft position.

Exactly. If the dude wants a head coaching job, go for it. He didn't though. Guess can't expect too much at this point, gophers have been relevant for about 2 months. Hopefully PJ can get a good replacement. It will take some sustained success before the gophers are a top detonation for coaches.

It is possible to teach a guy something new. RA Dickey agrees with me, he gathered 22.4 of his 23.3 total WAR at 35+ years old. Never give up!

Should have signed him yesterday. No brainer imo. Everyone wants Cole (me included), but look at what happened to guys like Arrieta. Find someone with stuff, take them to the next level. This could be the missed opportunity of the off-season we all complain about in a year.

They got a FG return for touchdown and a 99 yard int for touchdown. They definitely got lucky. I'd pick Alabama big the next time they play. I just read Auburn predicted by 11 over MN because they played a better schedule. I don't agree. Gophers best win was Penn State, but Auburn beat Oregon first game of the year and got lucky against Alabama. Nix is terrible. I think/hope it will be a good game. I just don't buy the SEC hype.

Best possible match up IMO. Auburn is talented, but overrated, beat good teams, but got lucky. Beat them, and gain clout in recruiting against the SEC. In order to take the next step, gophers need to pull in more talent from the south.

Outback against Auburn it is. Should be a good one. Interested to see how they do against a team that beat Oregon and Alabama.

Only looking at 2019 is disingenuous. Last year was the first full year for Bum since 2016. He is 30. A 5 year $100 Million might do it, and if he returns to form it is a steal. Buy low if he's healthy. Teheran is consistent. I'd consider a nice 3-4 year deal for him too. He isn't a front of the rotation guy, but will help get to the playoffs.

I think Alabama has too much talent for this team. I'm hoping for Auburn. They got lucky against Alabama and would be a much better match up for the gophers. Now that Utah lost, pac 12 is out of the playoff. LSU beating Georgia knocks them out. The way I see it: Rose:Wisconsin/Penn State vs Oregon Sugar: Georgia vs Utah Citrus: Florida vs Penn State/Wisconsin (gophers match up well with Florida) Outback: Minn vs Auburn/Alabama Next SEC bowls are TaxSlayer vs ACC/B1G or Liberty vs Big 12. Alabama could get matched with Baylor. The bowls want competitive games. Michigan could jump Minnesota in the selection too.

A wise man once said... "They are who we thought they were." This team had a great season. Hopefully they get a good match up in their bowl game, and we can see how they perform against another good team.

They outplayed Iowa for most of the game. They are a better team than Iowa. If they played again, I'd very heavy on the gophers. Yeah, they weren't great against Wisconsin. I think Wisconsin is a bad match up in cold wet conditions. Where the talent gap exists, favors Wisconsin heavily in those conditions. Game didn't go their way after the great early start. We'll get to see what they can do at the bowl. I'll be surprised if they get blown out by anyone outside of Alabama. They are the potential matchup I see as much better.
