  1. So last year, a short ST was the reason for everyone being on the IL. Sooooo now this year we are worried because the vets aren’t playing meaningless games….. head scratching.
  2. The FO asks Correa for player input on what he wants playing with him. Much like Tom Brady and AAron Rogers in the nfl.
  3. Its going to come from guys that stay healthy and have become a year older and wiser. Runs come easier when you arent looking up at a 2-4 run deficit in the 6th inning.
  4. Odds are that he will play 3rd for a couple years and play SS when Correa has a dayoff and Lee will switch to SS when Correa is ready to move to 3rd.
  5. The Varsity team hasn’t looked this good in years with Lee and co. coming up soon. What a great time to be a twins fan!!
  6. Potentially the best team we have had in decades. Gotta play the games to find out tho. 97 win season.
  7. Its nice to see the twins stacked with depth on the 40 man as well as trying to squeeze 29 guys onto a 26 man roster. The biggest questions seem to be in the bullpen and why didn’t Pagan go to driveline to learn how to pitch instead of throw gopher balls?
  8. If his bat is .300/.400/.500 in MLB, you can play him anywhere but SS and CF no matter who is pitching or the day of the week.
  9. I picked Mahle in the hopes that his shoulder issue is over with. I agree that the floor is high if everyone is healthy. Its a deeeeeep rotation with a couple young kids coming soon. With some positive progression of everyone feeding off each other’s’ success, we could have a top 5 rotation in 2023. That should translate into a dozen more wins than the so called experts are predicting.
  10. I expect the top 3 on your list to make the opening day roster in 2025. I’m gonna say the #1 prospect in 2025 is going to be the 5th pick in the first round of the 2023 amateur draft.
  11. The potential earning power of RL if he becomes a star could be written into the contract so his value is paid out appropriately. I like the framework of what you have but lacks the incentive $$ that could pay him what he is worth. For example 500PA add $1M .300BA add $1M….. the list of incentives could be long and lucrative.
  12. I’m looking forward to Lewis getting off this list and establishing himself in the lineup for 150+games! He is overdue for some healthy seasons. Long term he would look great on the hot corner!!
  13. Interesting numbers indeed. Anyone know if those stats are tracked at the milb level? Positive regression would be a welcome scenario after all the health related issues since 2019.
  14. How about play a guy that has 794 milb ab, .283 ba, 35 hr, 53 sb and a career .922 OPS. Lets not look backwards. I’d rather take the bumps of a rookie learning a new position.
  15. For the sake of argument, lets just say that AK is a complete bust and back on the DL within may or June. What are the chances that Lewis or Julien is playing 1st for the Saints after spring training and takes over for AK? That’s assuming alot but don’t the two of them need to find a position and why not have a permanent back up plan if AK is MIA.
  16. Depending on who gets hurt or sucks, the next guys up … Lewis, Julien, Lee… will be mid summer or later. Looks like you nailed most of what lineups that we will see in april, may and June.
  17. No way any of those almost ready guys will be traded. They get all of 23 to develop and step into 500 ab roles in 24. We finally have AAA depth of young high upside allstar potential in 4-6 pure athletes. They will all find a role as a twin over the next 36 months. They will bring the WS back to MPLS.
  18. AK will be raking at 1st most of the year and Miranda may get a few games there. Nothing to even be concerned about if the team is average healthy over 162.
  19. 4 errors at SS in 46 games as a 20yr old in A ball. I’d say thats solid defense. Im stoked for this kid!! The big show is going to be full of pure athletes from 2025 on….
  20. If he is more than just hype, he should be in the big show mid 2024 or penciled in starting in 2025. He will still only be 24 yrs old with a fresh arm. What a great draft pick!!
  21. Miranda could be the team MVP this year. He changed his diet and worked his ass off to become an allstar. Doesn’t matter where he plays in the field if he hits ba .290 , ops of .990. With 30+hr. He could be around and raking for a decade.
  22. Lets ask this question every year for the next 10 yrs and track how the answers change….
