  1. Duffey and Stashak should stay as of now. Harper might stay. He should not be trusted to be a fireman. He should just start a clean inning. Stewart does not belong in the major league. He should be demoted immediately. Parker should be DFAd immediately.
  2. Trade for Escobar or Pressly type of players please. Pressly is an all star this year. Escobar has .292 avg .900 OPS, he has hit 22 homers and driven in 79 runs so far. Talk about production and clutchness.
  3. I think it's too much to give up for Syndergaard. However I would trade Alcala and Maciel to get Dyson and Watson in a heartbeat.
  4. Too much to give up to acquire Vazquez. Good hitting catchers like Jeffers are rare. Jax is the pitcher I really like other than our top 2. Larnach can really hit. Yes let's get Kennedy.
  5. This win was handed by Sabathia early in the game and saved by the bullpen. Twins needs to pitch a lot better to have any chance to win the next two.
  6. Twins needs as many clutch hitters and reliable bullpen arms as possible. For example: Arraez and Rogers.
  7. I really think batting practice performance of Littell was the real turning point of the game. He should never be trusted at all. I wouldn't want to see him anymore this season. He should be back to AAA in no time.
  8. Minor is throwing some kind of batting practice tonight for Astros' hitters. He gave up back-to-back-to back homers in the 3rd. He allowed 4 dingers in 3 innings.
  9. Perhaps September. Unless Adrianza and Cave are gone, I am not sure we can see Davis before September. Stashak might get a call up soon.
  10. May needs to be sent to IL. Magill needs to be released. Call up Thorpe and Stashak.
  11. I was hoping they pinched hit Adrianza in the 9th for Schoop if they pinched hit Arraez in the 4th for Sano since there is only one Arraez on the roster. We just can't get enough of Arraez in the lineup!
  12. Rooker is on IL, Davis, Wiel and Stashak are the ones I want to see. I think we have seen plenty of Cave and Schoop already.
  13. Trading someone who never delivers in crucial situations is a smart smart smart move for a contending team that wants to win as many games as possible in playoff. Gonzalez, Adrianza, Arraez and Polanco all can play 2B adequately. Gordon is very close to major league ready.
  14. When there is a hitting party, Schoop will probably join. When there is a big hit needed or the game is on the line, it's almost a guarantee that he's not going to deliver. That's why Brewers let him go. Schoop is exactly the kind of players a contending team does not want because he is not going to help the team win in big games. I would not want to see Schoop in Twins uniform even if he only makes league minimum.
  15. It seems every game Schoop would leave 5 men on base. He's already at the bottom of the order. He can't go any lower in the lineup. He needs to go.
  16. Smeltzer over Mejia, Stewart over Morin, Littel over Parker. All three can pitch multiple innings. I think Twins need as many pitchers who can pitch multiple innings as possible.
  17. Smeltzer certainly earned his stay in the major league. Mejia seems to belong in the minor league instead.
  18. I am not sure Twins can advance further in the playoff if they can reach the playoff. Those Dodgers and Yankees are impressive. Especially those Dodgers! They just had another impressive walk-off win again last night. Dodgers have dominating pitching, power hitting, clutch hitting, excellent plate discipline. They have it all. I think this year is definitely the Dodgers' year.
  19. Baldelli should have taken him out before Grossman came to the plate. He took him out of the game without asking him before.
  20. I wonder how Yankees was able to sign #1 and #18 and a few others with its limited international bonus pool this year.
