  1. What kind of leadership did he provide? Did he have a choice? He's not going to walk away from millions of dollars.
  2. Bring Odorizzi, Pineda and Romo back and add a few effective pitchers like Minor and Harris...
  3. I would not trade Rosario, I think he is special, he could help Twins win a World Series in the future. I would trade Buxton first. Buxton has the talent, unfortunately he has not contributed much on and off the field. He may not want to play in Minnesota. Lewis could be our future center fielder.
  4. I want Perez over Gibson. Perez can be lefty specialist only. I want Wade over Schoop. Wade can provide speed and outfield depth on the bench.
  5. Adrianza over Astudillo (fielding), Wade over Schoop (speed), Perez has to be used as a lefty specialist only! Littell, Stashak and Graterol should certainly be on the roster.
  6. Schoop has 14 errors this season. Sano has 15. Schoop has 0 hit 0 walk and plenty of strikeouts when bases are loaded. Schoop is pretty much an automatic out in crucial situation. Schoop has no plate discipline. Schoop's line: 20 walks 107 strikeouts Sano's line: 50 walks 144 strikeouts.
  7. I have little faith in Schoop especially in playoff. He has proven time and again that he is a negative force in crucial situation.
  8. In order to fix the problem, Schoop needs to be released. He usually does little offensively when it matters anyway. Schoop can take his meaningless homers and errors elsewhere next season.
  9. Why not let Garver play 1B? I would like to see Arraez, Polanco, Cruz, Kepler, Garver, Rosario, Sano, Cave in the lineup everyday in playoff. Garver can take over 1B. Schoop needs to be off the roster. Cron needs to be a bench player along with Adrianza, Castro, Astudillo and Gonzalez.
  10. Odorizzi is my 1st priority. Pineda is a close 2nd. I think it's time to move on from Gibson & Perez and try to sign a real ace instead. Let Schoop and Castro walk, that would save some money. #5 starter could be one of Smeltzer/Dobnak/Thorpe. Graterol stays in the bullpen along with Rogers, Dyson, Duffey, May, Littell, Stashak and maybe one more top lefty free agent reliever.
  11. The more post season games Twins play, the more games Pineda can potentially play in next season. Is that right?
  12. I think Arraez and Polanco should bat 1st and 2nd. Kepler 3rd. Garver 4th. Rosario 5th. I don't understand why those power hitters are hitting 1st and 2nd in the lineup.
  13. Twins are missing Mauer more than ever. With a collection of Schoop/Cron type of players Twins are destined to break the HR record. Unfortunately the ultimate goal of baseball is to win the World Series. I think in the offseason Twins need to get a few quality starting pitchers and bullpen arms along with couple CLUTCH hitters who often produce under pressure.
  14. Schoop is worse throughout the season though. I know Schoop hit a triple and drove in an important run. He also hit a ball four into DP. I want Schoop off the post season roster, I want Garver or Kepler takes over 1B when facing RH pitcher and Cron stays on the bench more, I want Rosario hits 6th or 7th in the lineup NOT 4th.
  15. He is back breathing. He got 1 out and let two inherited runners score.
  16. Post season is quite different from regular season. It's going to be tough to win on the road in post season. Home field advantage is very important.
