I don't know if I means anything, but I've been watching forum URLs count up to 50000 and this is the thread that reached that milestone. It looks like there's around 30,000 topics posted, so I don't know what the 50000 milestone signifies,but I thought it was worth acknowledging. Well done, Twins Daily; here's to 50000 more!

Michael Pineda (for the win) and Rocco Baldeli (for the bailout) owe Taylor Rogers a steak dinner (or other entree of his choice). I am very glad we kept the damage low enough to get Big Mike the win. He was throwing flames out there.

We won a game without a HR. We won a game without a professional outfielder on the field for half the game. Is this allowed? Is it legal? Someone erase the data for this game before someone from MLB re-checks it.

To shill my post from the game thread: Also, following the game while driving last night (while I was parked, kids. don't phone and drive), I almost had a heart attack when Sano stepped to the plate in the bottom of the 8th with 2 outs and a man on 3rd, right? Was there ANYBODY we had available to pinch there? I don't care if they'd never played 3rd before; it's suicide to put Sano in with 2 outs when you need a hit, especially late (lol) in a tie game. Nobody on or less than 2 outs, okay, but NOT WITH RISP & 2 OUTS!!!!!!!!

Someone tell the Twins to wrap their knuckles on their day off, too. We're going up against four punching bags in a row after tomorrow. I know that's an easy trap to fall into, but as of this writing, the teams we play after TB have a combined 95-136 record for a W% of .411 and none are over .500, with a day off before the first game against said EVERLAST™ products, with a short flight from CLE to DET, then a day off before 6 in a row (9 total, but I was only counting the speed/heavy bags) in that place across from Target Center. And the MinniePauls should be motivated to take out any frustration they have in that stretch on those teams full of poor, pitiful mortals as, starting on the 11th, they play 13 days in a row with a trip from Bloomington to Missouri at the end. Hmm, maybe I should've broken up this paragraph? Nah, who am I, Hemingway? Pfft!
