    I want Duran pitching the most of any reliever on the team, and that is not the closer role. When he was pitching in the closer role he was consistently having stretches where he wasn’t pitching for 4-6 days. Saving a guy for a save situation that might not come up is the problem and that can’t happen.

    Steer has contributed more to the reds season in 1 game than Mahle has to the twins twins only team to add at the deadline within the division and they won’t make the playoffs. At this point I hope they don’t. Time to move on from Falvey and Rocco.

    He did just put Megill in instead of Duran or Lopez who are both rested with a day off tomorrow. Not the brightest choice, but that’s just another day at the office for Rocks for Brains Baldelli

    Day off tomorrow, bullpen pretty rested, and Rocco sends guaranteed mess of an inning Megill in after going 23 pitches yesterday. Rocco is a computer on the fritz.

    Outsides of the twins inability to score a run in the simplest of situations, why was Megill brought back out for a second inning? Makes zero sense.

    .211/.268/.395 over last 15 is not decent in my book. Last 7 numbers are even worse. Outside of that double that cleared the bases he’s done nothing. Team can’t score runs right now and Rocco is not trying to write up a lineup with his best hitters. Just my take. Bats are more important than defense right now.

    Garlick came off the IL hot and has an .803 ops against righties. I understand Kepler’s defensive value but he’s done nothing with the bat for months now. Absolutely no reason Celestino and Kepler in the lineup over Garlick. None.

    Incredible that the star duo of Correa and Buxton continue to fail in big spots (Buxton .150 w/RISP, Correa .610 OPS RISP) and a damn rookie is coming up with all the clutch hits.

    Surprise surprise no Buxton. Glad he was able to hit that home run in the all star game and glad he was able to admire that home run when they were down 10-1 yesterday. He’s really a one of a kind player isn’t he!

    He is great against teams like Detroit and KC. His numbers are brutal against playoff quality bats
