  1. I think Pagan was not happy about that Reyes bomb yesterday.
  2. Would have loved to see Buxton bunt in the 10th. Only one run was needed to win the game, and he's created havoc with his speed in the past. He squared around once, but the pitch wasn't even close. I guess that part of his game has been basically shelved at this point.
  3. This looks like the defensively superior lineup, but I'm not sure it's the best for run production.
  4. I voted buy, but don't sell the whole farm. Moving some fliers for some expiring contract bullpen help would be best. I think Montas will require and unwise overpay. I'd rather see the team buy low on someone like Marquez and see if a change of scenery and a winning team can right his ship and help with the playoff run. He's also controllable through 2024. Balazovic, Steer and Sabato/CES might get it done.
  5. Logan Gilbert is an up and coming star, so I'm not at all surprised with the lack of offense against him. With that said, the offense does need to be more consistent. The lack of adjustments against the soft-tossing Gonzales was annoying, especially considering the team's history of pounding him. The training room is where this team needs the biggest upgrades. Can the Twins trade Tyler Duffey, Elliot Soto and Brian Duensing (after coaxing him back) for a top 100 PT and sleeper Soft Tissue Specialist?
  6. Great game from Jeffers! I was hoping for a Gary/Larnach combo in the lineup, but I'm glad I was wrong. He really came through and caught a shutout while doing it. Oh, and if Luis Torrens were to happen to leave this planet and end up in that hot place, I'm pretty sure his punishment would be to play the top of that 8th inning for all eternity.
  7. I'd give the POTG to Jeffers. Two hits, a walk and catch a shutout. Still happy for Luis and hopefully this gets him some ASG votes.
  8. Looks like Cotton ditched that breaking ball ... And it's working!
  9. Jeffers must have read that comment in another thread that Godoy would be an improvement.
  10. What the hell are the announcers eating (volume at zero)? Soylent Brown?
