One week ago, Twins Daily discussed the need for the Minnesota Twins to get more out of their first basemen next season if they wish to return to the top of the American League Central. This week, we look at another position that vastly underperformed relative to the rest of MLB: Left field.

After a disappointing 2021 season the Twins have an interesting offseason ahead of them. How do they get themselves back into contention while simultaneously staying around their standard $130MM budget? The problem was that the money spent last offseason was not spent on the correct players. Here is my blueprint for a potentially successful upcoming offseason for the Twins. 

There’s no denying that the Minnesota Twins will need to revamp their pitching staff this offseason. They currently have just two holdover starters, and looking to the free-agent market is likely. Maybe there’s a fit with this former Colorado Rockies pitcher.

Coming into the 2021 season, the Twins had five veteran starting pitchers. By season's end, the only starting pitcher with his name written in pen on the 2022 Twins starting rotation, and our guest tonight on Twins Spotlight, is Bailey Ober who came up, maybe earlier than planned, and had a terrific rookie campaign.
