After the recent Wolves and Wild play-off series, I now fear any lead can be lost.  Well, that and Minnesota sports history in general since the Vikings 1970's Superbowl streak...

I saw a meme recently....since game 7 of the 91 WS, no Minnesota MLB, NBA, NHL, or NFL team has appeared in a championship game.

Cleveland finished 6th. In the AL East.

OOPS, Cleveland swept the series to give Kansas the division.?

Although losing to Chicago before that also added nails to the coffin.

Dallas vs Minn (1975) is no sweet memory.

I saw a stat recently that when you add the seasons of the four teams up - Minnesota has watched around 120 seasons of sports since the last championship.

We had this poster in my bedroom - it did not survive my brother's pain and angst after one of the losses.0aeee569c68b946fa1861101e411da92.jpg

This Kwan kid looks like he can play.

There was a nice write up in the WSJ comparing him to Rod Carew and Tony Olivia. He has a K% < 10. Think of him as a Luiz Arraez but with speed and a good arm. He was at Oregon State with Larnach when they won the college World Series.
