Technically rectangular - but this is what  I think of with square pizza - except my school cut dish-washing and went to Styrofoam trays and plastic sporks (which were not that useful).

The pizza was usually shiny from the extra grease (which I am sure added extra flavor).  Sometimes we had taco pizza which was octagonal in shape for some reason.

Never understood the big deal people made about school lunches. Lots of adults eat from trays in cafeterias too.  There was no caption for the picture below, but I'm pretty sure it shows a surgical team enjoying a bite to eat in a hospital cafeteria, perhaps after successfully removing a spleen or the like.

Buxton is definitely starting to look better at the plate. very good sign.

He stopped trying to hit 6 run homers and he has stopped trying to hit 6 run homers on pitches out of the strike zone.

Awesome Progress!!!

The pizza here is certainly above frozen/reheated cafeteria pizza. Although lots of places put American cheese on it which makes outsiders really uncomfortable....but give me square, ahem rectangular, pizza any day over slop fest NY style

I believe his name is George.

And thanks to cartoons, we all know that if you find a bird named George, you pet him and hug him and squeeze him...

Absolutely POtN. I giggled for a good 15 seconds--my wife thinks I'm weird.

My wife also thinks I'm weird. I have no idea what I've ever done to give her that impression.

Must be a Wife thing

I always thought this had a sad ending when I was a kid.  Bugs could get a little dark and was probably a sociopath..

Just checking in now.

I see I've missed square food, birds named George, and ancient web services. Anything else absolutely not related to baseball I should be aware of while "watching" this baseball game?

I sure hope so!!!

Yep... That's how I ended up learning about "Of Mice and Men". I never would have passed American Lit without Looney Tunes.
