It's probably my fault. I checked in, saw it was 4-1, and figured so far, so good. Didn't realize I'd brought bad fortune with me... learned today that a teacher I like was nearly hounded out of school this year by some unruly 8th graders, and my barber's wife has been diagnosed with a terminal illness. So Nolasco picked a bad day to give up giving up runs, apparently.

It can't be much.

I would think not very many. Tends to happen when you trail in all but 2 games

Edit:  Just to clarify,   it's not me.   But someone knows,   and it's probably the same silly son of a beach who came up with the statoid that the Twins have trailed in every game played on a day that ends with a y 'why',    as in "I just watched all 9 innings of another crappy Twins game.    Why?"

I was just catching up on the game thread as the Marlins were catching up on the Twins...

Just got here. Came for the thread but am staying for the music suggestions. Four tunes mentioned, all worthy enough to already occupy shelf space in my Spotify library. Great taste, people!

 

Don't know if I'll stick around until Closing Time, but if I do, it'll be accompanied by tunes of that title by Lyle Lovett and my deep dark hero Leonard Cohen.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and call this Small Sample Size and say that he won't keep up the pace for the rest of the season.
