Twins Video

How many of you saw Trevor May slamming his glove down last night, and his other childish displays of anger?

Cmon dude, thats little league stuff! No you werent awarded Pitcher of the World tonight, but I hate to say this given your childish reaction, but you pitched a pretty good game against a terrific team.

Face it, rookies dont come up and dominate, ask Gibson who struggled mightily last year and was sent back. down.

I hope to never see that disgusting display from you again and I hope the coaches slammed your behavior.

I know some of you are gonna say, "I'd rather see him fiery than take it and not be bothered by it" That wasnt the case with May, I think he knew the camera was going to be on him and took that time to throw his tantrum.

I don't think it has anything to do with maturity... I recall a very veteran Carl Pavano taking a bat to a water cooler. I have no problem with May if he throws his glove down or if he just calmly goes and sit upset.

I thought he was better, and that's all I care about. He didn't walk anyone, but gave up hits. Now next start hopefully he can take another step. That's all that matters.

Save Kevin Brown punching a wall, I don't mind a guy showing some emotion.  I would get more upset when a guy gets shelled and doesn't seem to care.  Scott Baker would always look the same after a gem and getting shelled

Trevor May can throw his glove, he can bash a water cooler, he can try to brake a bat over his knee, just so long as the Twins continue to let him pitch every 5th day. I like the emotion, but I do agree he needs to control it. I think "nerves" or whatever you want to call it, has been a part of his early struggles. he's a very cerebral pitcher, and I think he's getting rattled and losing compuser, causing him to struggle more.

Shake it off, come back and do better. I still have high hopes for Trevor May.
