The Minnesota Twins desperately need starting pitching. Mitch Garver was among their most-attractive bats to dangle on the trade market. Today, Derek Falvey and Co. agreed to deal Garver for ... glove-first shortstop Isiah Kiner-Falefa. Also coming to Minnesota is 21-year-old pitching prospect Ronny Henriquez. It just goes to show that pitching remains the coin of the realm.  We did get an undersized pitching prospect in the deal.  Going for better pitching than that becomes exponentially harder, if you use only position players as trade bait.
