  1. First real adversity this team has faced this year. Let's see how they respond
  2. I thought his strikeouts weren't a problem! That's what I was told maybe a week ago in another article.
  3. Stu - can we get more clarification on what brought Tanner from KCMO to Delano? Thanks for filling in the backstory in advance
  4. He probably is between 6'0" and 6'2" and 175-190. Pretty common for measurements, especially of HS kids to vary as they can 1. change and 2. aren't being updated regularly and 3. can be exaggerated a bit. As far as stats, amazing what a simple google search will do: https://www.maxpreps.com/athlete/keoni-cavaco/A83HM940EeW-8KA2nzwbTA/default.htm
  5. Agreed, HS pitcher would probably be the bigger surprise from the four main categories to see them go with.
  6. Your example is admittedly somewhat common in the NL because of the unique rules. There is basically no advantage to this in the AL.
  7. It would be hard for us to get something for Austin since he isn't part of our organization
  8. I have a hot take to share: I recommend we use the strategy of having a starting pitching performance like that every night. That is all.
  9. Well to be fair, we did need to rest a lot of guys because it's not like we had any off days coming up anyway... *Checks the schedule, sees that the very day after this game is an off day*
  10. Remember when Blake Parker was our lone FA bullpen addition this offseason and our leadership decided that was enough?
  11. I mean, the Twins' philosophy on this has been changing for a few years now, this isn't new this year or last. The irony is you could argue that the market inefficiency in the game now as far as hitting goes is what we just got away from, having the ability to just put the ball in play in an era where strikeouts are kind.
  12. We should swap out the Mets with the Yankees in the AL and NL. Think how many world series we would've won in the 2000s if we just made that simple switch!
  13. I was pleasantly surprised to see us pull that out last night because we were handed chance after chance after chance and didn't seem to want to reach out and take it. Get the sweep today, I don't have a good feeling heading into Philly this weekend.
