    As the former graphic designer and scoreboard operator at Hammond Stadium for a decade, Kennys Vargas was my favorite player. He had a huge smile and an even bigger heart. He boomed out "Hey, Papi" to everyone he met. I'm still curious why the Twins moved on from him. He was a solid player.

    The byline stated: "the Twins topped Ron Gardenhire, Kennys Vargas and the Detroit Tigers". I actually was hoping to see a sentence or two about Kennys. He was on track to be a decent homegrown 1B option for the Twins with massive power before the Logan Morrison debacle. Also, one of the nicest guys in baseball.

    Watched Brusdar pitch for the Miracle... lights out prospect. Sorry to see him become a star elsewhere.

    Travis, Loved watching you play for the Ft. Myers Miracle. I did the graphics and ran the scoreboards. Scotty P (official scorer) and I would constantly talk about your hustle and how we never saw anyone who could take an extra base on balls in the dirt like you. For years we'd say "Travis Harrison would have been on second on that pitch!" Wish you all the best in the future. Mitch K

    Most of you form opinions from a stat sheet. I work for the Miracle... and trust me, Jorge's the real deal! To trade him for ????? would make no sense. He's far outshone Kohl Stewart and even Stephen Gonsalves in his time here. He might be with the Miracle this long because of his age, certainly NOT his talent.
