  1. Just to make sure ... click on your name up at the top right there, between the 'sign out' and notifications; and choose 'My settings.' That page then should say 'General Account Settings' at the top, and underneath it reads 'Photo, Time Zone, Comments & Visitors, Friends, Profile Information' etc. In the Profile Information section, you should see 'Edit my About Me Page' and under that is Member Title. In that box is where you should put whatever. That's how it is for me, and I would think it's that way for everyone else, but I don't know. Edit: there are two sections that say 'Profile Information,' it would be in the first of those.
  2. Brian will have to have an extra-special 'Things to think about' for that night.
  3. Guys ... the news about MAY is good news! Let's not disintegrate this thread by making it about Meyer not being here. May is here, maybe Meyer will get a shot next, but we got one of them up now and for now I'm good with that through Saturday. Edit: This was an 'official' moderator's note, btw.
  4. We were all speculating those signs. Great news! Glad we weren't set up for disappointment!
  5. Careful ... I wield power ... and I'd be well within my rights to exact it on you for putting me in with that lot.
  6. Mine never changed ... you made me Imelda Marcos and I was Imelda the whole time there. Shoes, anyone?
  7. It was there when we were testing the site, because it was something that you 'fixed' when we noticed the embedded video 'overhang' the comment box.
  8. Even Safari was doing that to some extent, but not on my iPad. But I'll make a list of things that still need checking there, but it's okay for now.
  9. I've been finding, for me anyway, that Chrome is working the best on my desktop for TD.
  10. JB ... I've been posting the articles to the main forums as they become available, (and when I've been available to find them and post them) so you should be able to read them without having to go to the articles comment forum.
  11. Try going into edit and erasing everything then saving. You should be able to delete or hide your own post, though. If you have a 'hide' function, use that for now.
  12. So, at the bottom of the post, to the left of the 'multiquote' and 'quote' buttons, you don't have a line that reads 'Blog This' 'Edit' 'Hide' 'Delete'? Maybe it's a mod thing. I also have that in edit mode.
  13. Try going into edit ... and deleting from there. Edit ... or better yet ... click on delete under the post.
  14. Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn.

  15. Yeah, me too. Okay ... I don't seem to be able to 'like' a comment ... I've reached my quota of happiness, or some such was the message. And I no longer see the last post and date thing to the right of the thread subject. It was there, but not now.
  16. Ah, nice Brock ... that was quick. Okay ... we all get to start fresh ... the clock starts ticking now.
  17. Heh ... well Ash has 15. We had fun testing things. And I'm trying to figure out how to remove my own, because I am and always will be an angel.
  18. I think that's how it works. It's been a couple of weeks since I test drove; and since my life lately has gotten pretty hectic, I'm going to have to relearn what I tested all over again because that stuff went out of my head when other stuff cropped up. What I suggest is giving it a full go ... go in and out of forums, click navigational links, click stars or dots when you see them to see what happens. Click and learn. Then post questions. I know, it's a pita to have to learn new stuff, but once you get used to it, you'll wonder why it wasn't like this all along!
  19. The 'time out' period is automatic once you've reached a certain number of 'infractions.' Once the moderators are acclimated to the new system we will post how that will work. I think once you accumulate 3 points you sit for 24 hrs, come back and get another point, it's 3 days, another and it's a week. It's an automatic system. And the points do retire after a length of time. As I said, once we are acclimated, we will outline how that works.
  20. I'm going to lock the other thread in the main forum and direct all questions to here.
