  1. Yeah it’s really awkward to see sportscasters try and talk through a scary thing like this. They’d be better off showing Australian rules football with the officials wearing the funny hat like they did back in the day
  2. The NFL originally gave the teams 5 minutes to get loose and restart. People were also upset that it’s taking so long to postpone this game. if this were an MLB game, it would have already been postponed (although it finally appears to be PPD judging by the staff removing sideline gear). As unimportant as it is in the scheme of life, the NFL probably is trying to figure out how to proceed from here considering the teams playing and the time of season.
  3. If it were baseball the stadium would already be empty. NFL is different schedule wise. The league would probably be ok with it being a no contest considering that it’s one week away from the end of the season. Laughable that they were going to give them 5 minutes to get loose and restart
  4. It will be called, you can’t ask people to play after that. The teams would refuse
  5. Guy from the bills might have actually just died on the field. Sickening
  6. Vikings hadn’t played on grass since way back on November 6 against Washington. Hadn’t played outside since November 13 at buffalo. Inexcusable that a team wouldn’t have the appropriate cleats to play on grass in January in Green Bay. They were on ice skates, which almost certainly led to the drops. I don’t get that. We had long cleats in high school.
  7. Very likely? No. Not on the road in SF. GB can still miss out on the playoffs too btw.
  8. I’m not going to take to the bridge when they get eliminated, for sure
  9. The point is to win the Super Bowl, not win one game and get cooked in round two. At this point, I would be concerned about beating ANY of the possible first round opponents, New York included. The defense is what it is, the offensive line is in tatters (and it wasn’t good to begin with). We can’t run the ball worth a lick and these outdoor games in January especially on grass make it very difficult to execute a passing game. The receivers were on ice skates today. I’d much rather have a home game in round 2 as the 2 seed and maybe someone can knock off philly, giving us another home game of it were to go that far. That’s the only way we have a shot. They had an opportunity to essentially wrap up that 2 seed today and instead played almost as badly as they did against Dallas. I simply cannot comprehend being satisfied with losing in the playoffs. It’s a wild mindset.
  10. Raiders always let you down. Doesn’t matter who we play round one. Won’t win a road game in round two
  11. Utterly embarrassing. Time to pull kirk and JJ. Run the clock out. Disappointed that JJ is the best WR in the league and he allowed jaire Alexander to take him completely out of his game. And SF just went ahead. All around a pretty terrible day
  12. So we either win nail biters or get our doors blown off. No middle ground.
  13. 12 guys on the field now. Hey 10 and 12 average out to 11!
  14. It’s been many years since I’ve seen a Vikings team tackle so badly
  15. How do you not call a timeout when you know you only have ten guys on the field on third down
