    I'm game for a heated and highly contested three way race in the AL Central this season. It would be quite fun, especially considering there's probably only going to be one AL Central team in the playoffs so no wild card consolation prize.

    That was a slog of a high scoring game that came in as at the average time of a 2022 game. There were plenty of games this weekend in the time frame you mention, some quicker even.

    It's been on the promotions list since the list was released in January: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.kare11.com/amp/article/sports/mlb/twins/twins-announce-promotional-schedule/89-96e44503-e4f3-49ae-8102-02b7d6b42955 Although, there are no details listed on the Twins website yet on the promotion. I'm going to that game, so thanks for pointing this out and giving me something to look forward to. I'm guessing it's a "Los Twins" jersey to the first 10,000 or 20,000 fans. Normally, their giveaway jerseys are button down and decent quality. Of course, they have the logo of the giveaway sponsor on the jersey.

    The pride of Dakota County! This is a great story of perseverance that should be made into a movie. Also, nice to see Caleb make some decent money ($1.3 MM) in 2022 and scheduled to make $2.4 MM in 2023.

    His career has hit rock bottom. There might still be some potential for Dobnak to contribute at the big league level. Anything he adds as a positive going forward is an unexpected bonus for the Twins.

    It's always felt wrong that one agent would have so much impact on the sport.

    It's common knowledge that baseball players are underpaid at the start of their MLB careers, at least the successful players. Then, when they hit free agency they can finally cash in on what they have accomplished. There are advantages and disadvantages to the system for the players. There's no guarantee to the club that the player will perform as well or better than previous performance.
