  1. I would only be disappointed in anyone who implied that Royce's performance against McKay last night was an indictment of the Twins decision to take Royce.
  2. Friday – son’s hooding ceremony I had to Google this - I thought it was something completely different
  3. I am glad Wells and Watson have been pitching on the same days lately. Otherwise it would be hard to keep them straight in my head.
  4. Some folk get too caught up with age (I guess because it is easy to measure and compare?) This guy is a legit prospect, regardless of age.
  5. Thinking of Jack Kralick driving in Billy Gardner just makes me smile. Same with Camilo Pascual hitting a grand slam. Great times, great memories.
  6. Interesting to see the home openers becoming earlier and earlier. Good stuff all around, as always.
  7. I was worried before the bad reports, before the injury, before he was signed, I was worried on the day he was born. Therefore I win the internet and am awarded most smart person in the kingdom.
  8. The Twins have been a big part of my life since the mid-sixties and it is nice to read stories that either I never heard before or that I have forgotten The 1965 airlift and the celebration over trading RD fall into those categories. Thank you for continuing this series.
  9. Great report - thanks for sharing Very interesting on the theory of having two pitching coaches. Can't wait to see how these players develop
  10. As always - good stuff. An inning with Carneal and Gordon would be the highlight of my life (sorry kids)
  11. lots of hard cases in the comments section today - the "I have higher expectations" crowd. If stories like this never happened I might get it, but they do - See Chris Coste. I hope for the best for every Twin minor leaguer and see no reason to crap on anybody's dreams on the internet.
  12. Competitive Balance B picks are protected, no? I think it's 95
  13. Jerry Ujdur definitely a blast from my past, having been born in Duluth in 1957 as well. The older I get the more I enjoy harking back to the glory days. Thanks again for keeping this regular feature going.
