TiberTwins's Achievements

  1. This makes sense that if healthy he will be solid. Has anyone heard what he's been doing or any programs he's been given by the Twins health staff to help this issue?
  2. Love the site and the content. No need to go anywhere else for Twins info. Unless I want some Koolaid and I'll go to the Twins site. Thanks for all you do!
  3. This plan is totally realistic and has as much chance to win in the playoffs as any other team. I hope this happens. Only way to make it better is to sign Strasburg or Garrit Cole on a contract they could opt out after 3 years.
  4. Again I agree. Not happy with the way they lost in the playoffs but understand what was done and not done at the deadline and mostly agree with the FO on most decisions. They have access to way more than we, the fans do. I just would like to keep moving forward with the good parts that are here.
  5. I agree with this analysis. We need to build from here and target pitching that can win once we get in the playoffs. Don't mortgage the future but improve what is here.
  6. "...is it up to Joe Mauer to change who he is or for us to realize that our expectations aren't going to be met? Have you ever tried changing who you are? It's not easy." This, TOTALLY this.
  7. Thanks for some refreshing candor during this season of complaint.
  8. This is what happens when you have too much time on your hands. You are a true Twins fan and it is appreciated. GO TWINS!!
  9. This is completely true. The Twins have no fire, no desire to prove they are the best, to BEAT other teams. They are content to play but not beat other teams and prove they are best. If they could get this attitude they would do well even if the talent right now is not that good.
  10. Reading some of the quotes, I need to clarify that I agree that this is not the issue that should get him fired. My point is that he has lost this team and they don't want/care to play for him. For that fact, he needs to move on.
  11. Your penchant for ridding the team of Gardy is well known and documented. That being said, I agree with the analogy of the captain leaving the ship. He seems less and less in control of this team and not willing to do what it takes to right the ship. In those situations in professional sports, where the manager/coach has lost his team, teams usually get rid of them. But... that is not the "Twins Way."
