DJSim22's Achievements

  1. Is there another player who is more unappreciated in sports by hometown fans? It's mind numbing, kind of embarrassing.
  2. Parise's contract was always considered a bad deal and has been considered one of the worst or the worst contract in the NHL over the past few years. Let's hope Darvish doesn't make the baseball lists...
  3. Duffey is one who I don't know what to do with. Pressley is frustrating because he has stuff, but can't seem to get anyone out. I don't know who Tomkin is. Gee definitely can fill into a Swarzak role which is beneficial and to get him on waivers is a real nice pick up. Colon has mostly been good. I view him like a knuckler, he's either on and frustrating the batters or he gets rocked. He deserves more starts. Houston has prospects and is making their run. I also would bet the farm that Detroit had no interest trading him here, and none of us knows what he thinks of the Twins. Ans as far as Houston goes, I never want to be a fan of a team who intentionally loses.
  4. Rosario or Kepler can fill in at CF on days Buxton needs a rest. Grossman should be a bench bat, who occasionally gets a start in the corner outfield and at DH. He's a very useful player, but better suited as a back up. I don't see why we NEED a primary DH. Use the position as a rotation to give guys a break. Mauer, Sano, Dozier, Grossman, and Garver could all play there at times. Us eit as a way to get the best match ups in the line up as well. If Escobar hits a certain pitcher well, get him in the line up and have Sano DH. The bench next year would be fine with Adrianza, Escobar, Grossman, and Garver. Outfielder gets hurt, Granite comes up. Infielder gets hurt, you have options. Granite, Gordon, Vargas come up.
  5. I always find it very interesting that people who have the thinnest skin are the first to go after others. Souhan fits this theory so well.
  6. Your articles are quickly becoming one of the top reasons I come to the site. Thank you!
  7. Dozier and Belisle should be on the hot list. We want Granite up again with his negative war? He can chase a ball down although you don't know where the throw will end up. Garver hasn't had an MLB at-bat, people need to relax. He's not even a top prospect. I have a crazy idea, let's wait 2 weeks and call up Granite and Garver and DFA no one giving us extra options!
  8. Completely agree, but yet we have to read the same old Garver stuff every other thread. Twins, please call him up in Sept. so we can have a different conversation!
  9. A game and a half back with four teams to climb over. The second part is not being mentioned and is far more difficult.
  10. Not much more than a swinging bunt and then a tough play that Kepler could have made off his glove. I knew I shouldn't have turned on the game.
