    Need to wait and see who else is involved. Sounds like two prospects to the Twins along with Lopez and one to the Marlins.

    This is what I would do. It’s on overpay according to trade simulator, but I think it would take something like this.

    Twins get: Luzardo Soler Marlins get: Wallner or Kepler Enlow The Twins would pay all of Soler’s salary. It is relatively even on baseball trade values.

    Very well written. I think he deserves a spot in the HOF, but it’s going to be difficult to get him in without Andruw Jones in.

    This would make no sense at all. They wouldn’t pay Correa, but they would trade the farm and have to pay Tatis? He would be a great add and I would love to see him on the team, but it just wouldn’t make any sense.

    So the main focus of this off-season was to resign Correa and they get a second chance and still don’t get it done? The front office could have redeemed themselves and got the fans somewhat back on their side. With that said, it does seem like he wanted to go to NY so it might not have mattered if the Twins upped their offer at all.

    Trade Larnach or Kepler and whatever else they need to Miami to get Lopez. Try to get Soler in the deal to lower the cost for the Twins. Then sign Benintindi. If there is room in the budget sign Swanson. Now you have some speed in the lineup and a couple guys at the top that put the ball in play well.

    I really think these huge contracts are due to the crazy inflation we are currently seeing.

    Who else wanted Provus to ask Baldelli why Lewis couldn’t learn other positions at the Major League level like other players on the team have? (Even though I know he would never call them out like that)

    Now it sounds like the Twins might be trying to trade Sanchez. I have no idea what’s going on, guess I’ll just have to watch and see…

    Jason Kubel was born in Belle Fourche, SD. I just noticed there were no Twins listed for South Dakota. It was a fun list to look through though! Thanks for putting this together.

    I wonder how good this team would actually be? Pretty solid defense and three exceptional hitters. Constructing a lineup would be interesting too. I was thinking something like: Carew Knoblauch Mauer Tovar Buxton Punto Gladden Revere Guzman

    I wonder if a 4 year $64 million contract with an opt out after year 2 would be enough to get Kimbrel.

    I didn’t get a chance to watch or listen to the game. When I looked at the box score, I was surprised that Slegers was pulled after just 72 pitches. Was he laboring or getting into some trouble in the later innings?

    You are right. I was a little light for Archer. We all know Lewis isn’t going anywhere though. I wonder if Gonsalves, Gordon, Kiriloff, Jorge, and Blankenhorn would get them interested?

    I hope they push as hard as they can to sign Darvish and trade for one of the others. My preference would be Archer or Cole. With the way the rest of the American League is shaping up the Twins are going to have to be aggressive. I think it’s time for them to go all in. The window is opening and they have room to take on payroll. Would Gonsalves, Gordon, Jorge, and a low level prospect be enough to land either Archer or Cole?
