    3rd down, Gophers receiver in the middle of the field had nobody within 5 yards of him. It was a 10 yard pass, and Leidner threw it behind him.

    To be fair, if you take away that last drive (where TCU was up two scores and softened up considerably on D) his numbers were pretty atrocious.

    ? I was disagreeing with the poster who claimed TCU would be out of the top 25. I was excited about the way the Gophs played, except for Leidner's accuracy issues, which was my biggest concern from last season. It's frustrating to see great play calls not executed because of a ball thrown at the receiver's feet.

    Or maybe it was the first game of the season and TCU was still working out some kinks.

    Gophs put in a good effort against #2 TCU, ultimately coming up short by 6 points. Leidner looked awful, so many over/under throws to wide open receivers. I was sure hoping to see some improvement in that department. Still, I'm excited for the season. They better get the axe this time.
