  1. To answer OP's question about why the marriage number going down is simple. Why buy the cow, when you can get the milk for free? I think a fair amount of guys are scared because of the divorce rate in this country is so high and since they are mainly the bread winner, half of their stuff is gone if there is a divorce.
  2. To the poster above who mentioned Sano might not be ready comparing him to Vargas is wrong. Vargas was red hot but he didn't take walks. The writing was on the wall...as for Sano he shows proper plate discipline.
  3. Pushing up Walker to Triple AAA will not solve anything. He is going to strikeout a ton anywhere, you could demote him to A ball and he probably will lead the strikeouts. The Twins want the strikeouts to go down for Walker but pushing prospects that are strikeout prone aggressively almost always backfires. Now, what the Twins really want is him to get a better idea of the strike zone, he needs to start walking a bunch to be a real prospect. Like Miguel Sano. The Twins do what they think is best based on the individual. Trust the process. If your going to complain about the Twins there are much better subjects to chew on. Like relief pitching...
  4. I'd hate to break the news but some things are going to go the other way here soon. Perkins isn't going to save every game, Dozier has been something else but he will slump sometime, Hunter will fade a bit. The good news is Hughes will probably perform better, base running will get a bit better.
  5. I was excited to read Stewarts line since you mentioned him then I saw the walk to strikeout ratio ICK
  6. Well the nice thing about next inning is that Suzuki and Robinson can be pinch hit for LOL
  7. Why did he face Kinsler? Dude homered off him to begin the game remember?
  8. Since this team loves to bunt, I was begging Robinson to lay one down for the squeeze
  9. Crap. I knew Manny was a bad matchup for Hughes this late. If they score, going up against Day and Britton is like Kansas City all over again....
  10. While I agree, its good to be slow with him, you can't compare him to the Joe Mauer, Michael Restovich, ect. Totally different prospects with different approaches, stats, ect. The best thing would be for Kepler to finish the year at Triple AAA. He has a good ISO but he could hit a few more homeruns. I do like the nearly identical walk to strikeout rate, that is very promising.
  11. I have a feeling that the Twins have scored most of their runs for the series already.
  12. I'm so over Suzuki. Dude can't throw baserunners out and hits terrible. Catch framing is below average. OBP is below .300. I could go on and on...
  13. Rocket arm?? I thought his arm was so-so, making him tough to stick at shortstop long term
