  1. The defense is great but if it means he is only able to play in 100 games all season it's a waste of the bat.
  2. I would find out what happened and if he is partly at fault it might be best to just send him home now and have him work out on his own until he is cleared to pitch. That might be the wakeup call that he so clearly needs. He was a top prospect that fell off fast.
  3. Maybe they try converting him into a relief pitcher this year. He is owed $7,750,000 through 2026 so there is no reason to just cut him and move on. It's not big money but if he can come back it's worth hanging onto him especially since he's not taking a spot on the 40 man roster.
  4. https://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/270508/Bally-Sports-Parent-Company-Skips-Interest-Payment-Expected-To-File-Bankruptcy I just hope this doesn't affect our ability to watch the Twins this season.
  5. This will be good as long as the ball stays in the park. All of them can sure cover some ground.
  6. God bless steroids and that there were rules against them at the time.
  7. All teams are trying that approach. I think only Houston has an open spot as of right now. Once players can be put on the 60 day IL there will be a bunch of moves happening.
  8. Any way you look at this situation it seems like the Twins are doing everything wrong here. If they expect Lee to be 3rd baseman next season they should have left Miranda at 1st base now. I don't think it makes much sense to keep moving a player back and forth between positions like this. Leave him in one place and let him be.
  9. He may change his approach in 2023. There is nothing saying he can't change and be a better hitter. He has to know this may be his last chance to play and make adjustments.
  10. Waiting for a team better than the 1987 or 1991 Twins. Seems like a lifetime ago.
  11. I don't want a short guy playing first. It limits the range and many other things. Just think of that bang bang play when he can't stretch as far for starters. He would be fine at 2b if his knees could handle it.
  12. Arraez wasn't shifted much at all either. So that comment is not correct.
  13. Exactly, get hitter no doubt about that. No speed, defensive liability and Miami is going to play him at 2b, and no power. I'm sure they offered a pretty low long term deal.
  14. Boras is not his agent. Baseball reference has it lasted as Agents: MVP Sports Group
