I been following the twins farm system for awhile and I don't think i have ever been as excited for a group of prospects the twins have had. I would never say that in five or so years that they will win a world series. But as a group I would say that this is best group of propects that the twins have had ever. I think that a lot could go wrong, but based of the potential of this group, I would say that the twins are going to be really really good for a long time.

I think that Baseball America did a analysis saying it was possible for them to take buxton and mcCullers. I should say that since last night I've come to realize that this is what the astro's wanted to do so while we should critize them for it and i do. We should also reconize they got a good player/s not the best player and they were trying to fill holes. I have to say that I think that I feel like the Astro's draft last is a little like the Rays draft in 2010 or the twins draft in 2004 were their trying to get multiple hole fillers, not going after the best player they could. A maybe it works maybe it doesn't. We will have to see in a couple of years. I do think buxton will make the astro's lose sleep for years to come.

The Astros did just fine by themselves. It would be patently unfair to criticise their decision. I can criticize their decision more this year. first off the non of those players are as good as buxton, period. secondly, they could of drafted buxton and all those players, if they wanted to they had the most money. third, on every mock draft I can remember I cant remember correa being the number one player overall yes he was in the top five, but it was always buxton or appel. fourth, yes baseball is a team sport but wouldn't you want to have buxton and berrios over correa and mucullers? I would.

um, let's wait until he actually makes the majors and produces before we drop anymore money on him. I think he's going to be special, but dropping a long term contract isn't going to get to produce any more than he already has.
