  1. KLaw Chat in 10 if interested: http://meadowparty.com/blog/2017/06/12/klawchat-61217/
  2. Yeah, I mean didnt Buxton pitch 98 the year we took him outta HS? He was obviously an every day guy then too. So I doubt McKay would have a big bump up at this point.
  3. I just hope that McKay's agent keeps calling the Twins and playing this over the phone:
  4. https://twitter.com/FPiliereD1/status/874323558863962116 Will be some fun banter between the 2 departments down the road depending on who they take haha.
  5. I have to say, both Falvey and Levine seem like incredibly smart guys, and both have great track records. While I've wanted Greene all along, I will trust what they do tonight. The time/effort they've put in obviously trumps anything any of us believe on here.
  6. PA "So, do the Twins take Hunter Greene?" LaVelle E Neal: "Nah, I don't think so."
  7. Is Romero the pitcher that's super talented but had a legal issue? How would people feel about Lewis at 1 and Carlson/Romero at 35?
  8. Baseball America had a post about how Greene's workout really impressed the "former players" of the Twins front office. https://t.co/FlN0z8QmU0
  9. My hope is that if the pick is McKay, that if he's putting his full energy into one position (he's been very good at both pitching and hitting) that he can be great at one. Obviously his timetable is more appealing than Greene, though I don't see Falvey/Levine being shortsighted while making this choice at 1.
  10. David (St. Paul) If you're the twins and both Tate and Jay are at 6, who do you take and why? Klaw (4:28 PM) Tate has more long-term upside but a little more risk. I wouldn't say Jay was the wrong choice. In general I'm not going to say much was wrong this year - it's such a flat, muddled class that if you want to tell me Dansby is a better pick than Rodgers or Jay better than Tate, I'm going to nod and say "good point." There isn't enough room to take dogmatic stances on most of these players.
  11. And if you're a huge nerd and want to follow Tyler Jay's start today: http://www.ncaa.com/game/baseball/d1/2015/06/08/illinois-vanderbilt
  12. KLaw chat is about to begin if you want to throw any Twins questions in: http://espn.go.com/sportsnation/chat/_/id/51829/mlb-insider-keith-law
  13. Sorry, I must have edited this JUST before you quoted - I put into the draft day thread.
  14. Pretty wild the amount of different names that have shown up at the #6 spot just in the last 2 weeks on various mock drafts out there. The unpredictability of what will happen tonight is pretty fun, actually.
