    Well, the Twins are on at Che Blake, but, I have to tell you, I'm not excited about the start by Phil Hughes. Just seems like the Twins are giving away games by keeping Hughes around.

    On the upside of the loss yesterday, Gibson may be turning into "must watch pitch" right behind Berrios. Yesterday, Gibson held down hitters who, in the past, had some pretty good numbers against him.

    The most aggravating part of the game last night was: Sonny Gray. The Twins couldn't knock that guy out within the first two innings? Really? He owned, what, a 9.00 ERA going into the game? Sad testament as to how bad the Twins are playing right now.

    The Twins play in the Central, so, yeah, they've a lot of room for error.

    Castro looks defeated at the plate before the AB starts. But, it's hard for me to really get on Mr. Castro, because the whole team is having problems right now.

    Disappointing loss. Maybe the Twins can keep the Yankees under 10 runs today. Oh, and it's getting harder for me to dislike the Yankees, because it appears they've got some pretty decent guys on their team. Though, for some reason, Brett Gardner rubs me the wrong way. Is one player enough to make it reasonable to loathe a team?

    I turned the game off. I'm not sure I regret missing Kinley giving up more more better go ahead home runs.

    What is it with the Twins and the Umps at Yankee stadium? Maybe we should call it the "Cuzzi curse." I know I curse when Cuzzi is umpiring.

    I may have been pulling for LaMarre, but even I'm not optimistic enough to consider LaMarre good. Unfortunately, though, he seems to be a better option, right now, than some others on the team. Makes me long for the days of Jason Tyner.

    I have to admit, it was pretty funny when the announcers started mocking the guy with the shirt. These guys are polar opposites of the idiots on parade broadcast we got from PR.

    If the trade had come back to haunt the Twins only once, no big deal. However, I believe the trade also cost on the defensive side of the ball in a couple of games, too.
