I thought the Twins didn't have a signed deal to even be on Bally if they don't go bankrupt? It is going to be an interesting few weeks before the season starts. I'll "watch" the Twins on AM radio or on my MLB Gameday Audio app. I see they raised the price of that from $20 to $30. Inflation everywhere. :-(

I attended this event. I am hoping Gordon makes the team in the utility role as he can play infield and outfield. They were good sports and I'm sure it is not easy doing these events with everything up in the air.

I like Max Kepler. At $8.5M he seems like a relative bargain. It will be very interesting how it works out. Injuries are the X factor. We likely need any and all of the OF'ers to play 162 games. Not Cal Ripken like at all. Different kind of player and game.

I like Arraez's batting approach. But, he doesn't have a position. 1B just doesn't seem right. I am OK with trading him in a bundle for the right player. Whoever that is.

No Bally SN would really stink for 2023. Especially out-staters. What would Dick Bremer and Justin Morneau do?

At $8.5 I'd 100% keep Max Kepler. With the shift gone for 2023, that should help some. Gallo, Buxton, Kepler. We would need all the other outfielders for injury times, which I assume will be significant.

Maybe some "Minnesota Nice" would do Trevor some good. Be nice, be kind and don't be not nice.

If he wants to be here and can play 140-150 games per season, then it doesn't matter "how". Piranha's 3.0 (or is it 2.0?)

At some point Carlos will be "too slow" for SS. Then a move to 2B or 1B will come. Hopefully 3-4 years at least. I like CC, but I wish he was 25 instead of 29. Thinking about 25 year old Mauer vs 34 year old Mauer. Time does no good most of the time. Can Royce be a 2B? Can Brooks be a 2B? Seems like trading 1 of the 3 for pitching would help in the long run.

I also saw Oliver Ortega didn't last long.

So the Twins should be willing to ignore the medical issues that blocked the Giants and Mets from signing Correa? Hmmmm. How about he plays out years 2,3 of his contract and we see if he can still play at a high level at 31? Only the Twins would willingly walk into 3-5 years of dead money.

How about a 1 year deal for, oh say, $30 million. $5 million discount for a bum ankle/leg. :-) I still think we could spend $30 million in more productive ways.

3 Twins and 2 Vikings. A Twins World Series win in today's market would be fun. A Vikings Super Bowl win would be something great to see. Wild playoff hockey is fun, but just can't get into hockey. Timberwolves. I won't even start with the NBA. I miss the late 70s and 80s NBA.
