  1. Not to say changes aren’t needed, but MLB has actually seen more parity and competitive success across the league than NFL, NHL, or NBA. Perhaps even more than a cap, MLB needs a floor. Pohlads are among the wealthiest owners in the league. Too many Twins fans are too eager to keep apologizing and making excuses for ownership and the FO. We should stop making it so easy for them. https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/why-major-league-baseball-does-not-need-a-salary-cap-for-the-sake-of-parity/
  2. Overall, pretty uninspired and middle of the road. The cream home alternates are the sharpest. Always love pinstripes too, though they should not have striping on the pants. It’s superfluous and ruins the clean lines/look. Also would prefer primary blue with red accent on the home whites. Good: The god-awful gold is gone! Bad: New generic M logo and the “North Star” should be more of a star shape if they’re gonna go that route, which isn’t really a great idea IMHO. Inexcusable: No Minnie & Paul!
  3. Sano is a bummer just because he once held soooo much hype/hope. But, so it goes. Wish him health and happiness. Btw, recommend this documentary, which features Sano... BALLPLAYER: PELOTERO This compelling documentary narrated by John Leguizamo is a gritty and never before seen look inside the world of professional baseball training camps in the Dominican Republic. Miguel Angel and Jean Carlos are two of the top prospects at a training camp, and they are both about to turn 16, which means they can be signed to a farm team and ultimately move up to the big leagues. Filmmakers Ross Finkel, Trevor Martin and Jonathan Paley take you inside this never before seen world for an up close and personal look at the cost of the American dream.
  4. Will there be a single-file version of the complete Offseason Handbook? Thanks!
  5. Prefer the current design with the T "hugging" the C. To my eye that actually looks cleaner and more classic. It's also more specific to the team. The potentially updated logo looks more generic. Have also never liked the use of gold in recent years and wish it'd go away.
  6. Not that it's a new thing, but Rob Manfred's MLB is especially driven by this ethos. The best we could hope for at this point is probably an officially recognized regular season title/trophy. As it is, we can simply take pleasure in such things as a fan if we choose to. The record books are always being written. I would love to see the Twins win another World Series (hell, even another post-season game!) but there are many reasons to watch and love baseball beyond wins/losses/titles.
