  1. Would substitute larnach for celestino Out of the bullpen moran should make the team but if he’s not looking in spring training expect danny coulumbe to return. Would like the Twins to bring back Fulmer but if not then they will use that last spot as the emergency arm instead of megill but no doubt megill will be in that rotation of emergency arms
  2. Why isn't anyone talking about Michael Helman being a right handed option this year? He can play almost every position except catcher but hits for power, draws walks, steals bases, etc.
  3. Jamie, hate to be the bearer of bad news but I think the Twins would have to kick in more players on these trades. You have us slotted to under pay in all of these trades. Remember, we're probably bidding against a lot more teams on these trades and would need throw in another solid player to get the other team to trade with us. I would think we have the most leverage with the Yankees and Marlins. The Yankees would be happy to have any of our outfielders and the Marlins would love to take a package of our young offensive prospects.
  4. This is an overpay for Lopez but his market is hot right now. A lot of teams would love to have Lopez. The Twins have a ton of depth in their lineup which is attractive to the Marlins who lack any offense and I think it makes the most sense to trade from the depth of players that don't have a home position nor are the strongest defensive players.
  5. Yes to all of this and since they have the money why not add Wacha and Fulmer (or Knebel) plus 1 more RH bat
  6. I only agree with Bassit and Sydnergaard. We probably could have been in there for Bassit. I'm curious where things are at with Eovaldi and if Eovaldi can be fetched for a contract similar to Bassit's contract. Syndergaard probably took a big discount to return to LA. The Contreras, Rodon, and Swanson contracts will be garbage in 2-3 years like the Donaldson contract
  7. There's still a path for a decent offseason Sign Eovaldi for 2/36 or Kluber 1/10 for veteran rotation depth, 1 of Fulmer, Ottavino, or Knebel for 1/5, 1 of Andrus or Iglesia for 1/5, and JD Martinez for 2/36. This would give us more depth than we've had in a long time. FO would probably make a few trades to make room on the 40 for another impact player. Who would go first off the 40 man? Sands? Balazovic? Enlow? Contreras? Celestino?
