Just a reference to Topps' turnaround time on getting set lists together not allowing them to be as accurate in the cards they issue. 2022 had a Charlie Barnes card which partly makes sense, but also mentions in his bio that he's not on the Twins anymore but instead signed to play in Korea.

Very low-key collecting (thanks to my son getting into it), and I've honestly found the best value to be in eBay box breaks. Every new set that comes out seems to have a number of eBay sellers posting auctions for all the cards from a particular team from however many boxes they're opening on a livestream. For the price of a few packs, I was able to get all the Twins cards from 4-6 boxes of cards from several different Topps releases last year....several complete team sets from the release plus some nice inserts (jersey cards, autographs, etc.). Very different than collecting when I was a kid, but in the days of most packs costing $5+, it's by far the best way to get the cards of the players I actually care about (plus the occasional Curtis Terry...)

I have to agree - greatest game I've ever been to. Managed to score seats 10 rows of left field fence after lots of calls to the office. The corporate loathing in the fans when the 'south Detroit' line of 'Don't Stop Believin' was played is seared in my brain. So wonderful.

Newbie to TwinsFest this year, and up until clicking on the link to autograph station schedule today, there was nothing stated anywhere about an extra cost for getting things signed. I'm assuming this is typical for the event and I was just blindly naïve? And when they list a station with multiple people, is the cost listed per station or per person signing? Will be a fun conversation with my kid who's got a stack of 20 cards ready to go for tomorrow....

Any idea why Soulaire was added to suspended list? I haven't been able to find any info...

Made it to the Kernels game last night (to complete the Twins road trip for the year), and Adams was awesome. Working fast, really crisp. Throwing well even when WIS was challenging. Was a really fun game. (And I'm going to go on the record as saying I really like the pitch clock....) Also great to see 2 2022 draftees starting last night (Lee & Shuffield w/ his CR debut). Neither did much at the plate, but Lee had a couple great plays at short.

Was there with the fam, fully aware that it was going to be a 'hang with kids' and 'watch the radar' game rather than a 'kick back and watch baseball' sort of game. Started heading to the car before things got crazy because sleep for kids is more important that potentially waiting out a rain delay.... Loved all that the Twins did to lean in to the theme - the player images/names on the scoreboard (Poloncao's surprised face on C-3P0's body was awesome), thematic branding throughout. Great experience for my Star Wars obsessed kids (and myself). Any idea if the Star Wars themed intro video will be available anywhere online? Lightsabers instead of bats and blaster bolts instead of thrown balls was great.....but Anakin holding 2 lightsabers to Orbit's neck with Palpatine saying 'Do it' was classic.

My favorite part may be Arrez's bat flip....don't remember another double-bat-flip HR.

Happy to report that yes indeed, business as usual. Great time walking around the complex, Falvey took our family's picture (and he was really gracious when I made a comment about ownership getting their act together so everybody can get to camp). Now to figure out who it was that gave my kid a ball.

Newbie here commenting because our family is flying out this afternoon for some beach time and we hope to at least stop by the complex. Does anyone have more info about what the day-to-day is looking like this year?
