  1. The major issue for the Twins is that their station to station offensive philosophy doesn’t help them to do what is necessary to manufacture a run which would win them an extra inning game with the ghost runner rule .
  2. Adding another LH OF to a stable of LH outfielders just doesn’t make a lot of sense.
  3. If you are going to be a station to station ball club, you had better have a LOT of guys who can hit the ball out of the park. The Twins don’t have those kind of hitters anymore so as a result they have limited ways to score runs. How many games last year did they score three runs or less?
  4. My point is that the signing was superfluous. How many LH hitting outfielders does that give the Twins? Five? If he had been a RH hitter it would have made sense.
  5. I don’t understand this at all. Another left handed hitting OF. Another strike out prone hitter . For eleven million . This is beyond comprehension .
  6. Pagan reminds me of Tom Kelly’s assessment of David West; “If it weren’t for the walks and home runs , he’d be pretty good.”
