  1. What ever you believe about Arraez whether it’s over batting over .310 or .280 ? It’s time to negotiate an extension. He is. 25-26 old batting average over .300 playing 3 years with bad knees. If the Twins wait until the final year of arbitration and he continues to bat over.300 the price will increase greatly. Arraez will be only 28 yrs. old with 6 yrs of batting over .300. Therefore, either the Twins should extend Arraez or trade him? In my opinion I don’t like bad knees, therefore, I in favor of trading him to Miami for a young starting pitcher Lopez or Cabrera. I maybe would consider enticement of Arraez, Kepler for Lopez & Soler & (cash$$ or Scot a relief pitcher.)
  2. This makes good common sense . How many games is Arraez going to win or contribute to the winning run in a game? How many games would Lopez win and how runs would save from scoring so the Twins have a chance to winn. How much money have Twins lost from signing over-the-hill players and players with poor skills.
  3. I would rather trade our assets for starting pitching and relief pitching. I would overjoyed if the Twins cozzied up to the Marlins for Lopez or Cabrera or Meyers all pitchers with talent .. The “23” season roster will need to be up dated because of reduced # of games in the ALC replaced by more games with NL ; doing away with defensive shifts. I’m hoping that Martin sticks with the big club because he could be a good lead off hitter.
  4. How about a 3 yr. at 36m with another 2 options of 3 yrs each. The Twins need him in this transitional time. Then trade with Marlins for Lopez or Cabrera.
  5. Even though Arraez possesses many good skills such as excellent batting average with limited power but he seems to lack a little in the field skills, he not fast, and most of all his knees are a great concern. How well will they stand-up with 3-5 more years of playing? This may be the peak of his trade value. Miami has couple young pitchers such as Lopez or Cabrera or others that trip my trigger. Both are young and have good stats an are a few years from free agency. Another pitcher that intrigues me is Marquez of the Rockies and he has problems pitching at home but is better on the road and pitched a lot of innings. He is in his late 20s and reasonable.
  6. I could see 6-7 prospects making it to the big yard in 2023. To get the quality to make a difference will require trading some good Twins players such as Kepler,Arraez, or other players.
  7. The Marlins have 2 pitchers Lopez & Cabrera are young and good stats and but may be cheaper than Roden but in a different type of currency $$$ and or player assets. Which currency is most easily refurbished? If the transaction is a failure. If the transaction is a successful when will the Twins start seeing result? Witch trade will bring back fans
  8. Twins could trade With Toronto for 1 of their young catchers.
  9. I ‘m glad the Twins still have Polanco as he so much more value than Wong.
  10. I at one felt that way too but I have mellowed out and ball player consider other factors geographically points in regard to family & health. &
  11. The Twins already have better outfielders than any of the for- mentioned of (give a break). It’s to early to go skinny dipping for the other for-mentioned players. The Twins have to many other holes to fill and need to spend more money than on players who are marginal. Everyone is complaining the Twins have too many left handed outfielders, then let’s do some trading of them?

    Lets go big!!

I fully agree but my order of preference 1st sign Correa, 2nd sign Contreras or 1 of the top 4 or 5 FA catchers, then trade with the Marlins for Lopez & Cabrera two young pitchers for Larnach, Kepler. & mid-range prospect. This would leave Kirilloff,, Wallner or Martin for rf & lf & 4th of.
  13. Haniger to me is a better choice than Martinez or Drury because he more of a position need than other 2.
  14. I would consider Rogers on a 1 yr. marginal cost on contract. He is relatively young ar 31.
  15. There are a couple of teams wanting to possibly wanting to trade one of there young catchers (Toronto & Oakland). Rumors have it that the Marlins would consider moving RH pitcher Lopez. ReSign FA Correa, Fulmer, T.Rogers & Haniger. This would make the “23” budget about $140-$150m. It would depend on who gets traded from the Twins?
