All we ever here about is comlaining about the Twins lack of a top end starter.....So we trade a guy with failing knees at the likely peak of his value for such a pitcher and now the chorus of complaints rain down? Yall are never gonna be happy apparently. Are you upset we got C4 as well>???

    I agree with everything said, but I think all of our patience is growing thin waiting on the promise of some gold coming out of the end of this pipeline.

    I guess my frustration is moreso the culmination of everything leading up to this point....I just want some dang excitement to build around this team, and I think that hope has pretty much vanished at this point. No, Kluber in 2023 isnt what he was a few years back, but I just want to be thrown a bone here.....ANYTHING! This thread can be locked if mods see fit.

    Aaaaaand another one that got away.... At this point are we really just content with running back what we had in the rotation? If this fails (which all odds point to that being the outcome) I would hope this spells the end for Falvine's tenure. An inexcusable lack of action this offseason. We wettn winners in 2022 even with Correa. Gallo and Vasquez arent gonna make up that gaping difference in talent.

    LOLing at people screaming that 11 mil is a lot of money in 2023 for an MLB contract. Some of you are very out of touch with inflation and how it extends to not just what you pay in the grocery store.

    The twins did in fact short change correa if we look at it through the lens of what contracts are now going for in MLB. This offer probably wouldnt have gotten Carlos last year or the year before and it sure wasnt going to cut the mustard this year. Inflation is real folks

    Hard no on that one. Im thinking we agree to take on his salary and they get a Couple B/C level prospects and thats about it. Unless they are eating the contract and trading him to us they arent getting starting pitching in return for him from us or anyone else.

    I think we here in MN (and especially ownership) really need to adjust what "reasonable" means in 2022 and beyond. Inflation is real, and its raising prices (and hopefully pay!) for us common folk. Why would Professional athletes also expect a raise? What used to be "ridiculous" contracts are now common place. We either need to adapt, or die. Money doesnt go as far as it used to. this applies to us as well as the superstars.

    Gotta agree with everything here EXCEPT that Byron Buxton wasnt worth the contract. Even injured, he has performed at a value that far exceeds what he is being paid for 2022.

    How does losing Rodgers suddenly mean we are out of it for this season? I think people chronically under/overestimate the power (or lack thereof) of relievers.

    It amazes me how some of y'all around here just cant ever be happy......All ive heard is pissing and moaning that the twins didnt target pitching this offseason, Well, weve added Gray, Bundy, Archer and now Paddack to add to Joe Ryan and Bailey Ober (also dont forget kenta Maeda still exists!). I foresee archer or bundy gets bumped to the pen. Like seriously, what did you actually want? The twins to go hold a gun to max scherzers head and force him to pitch here? We got pitching, and the pipe line is gonna start showing its dividends. Oh yeah and we also have the best SS and CF on planet earth right now..... Still not happy? ...try being a Cleveland fan.
