    Spring training early may not mean a whole lot but eventually it will mean something ... Bring the best and proven players north that have earned it , don't place someone in AAA just because he has options so we can keep someone else that didn't earn it because they are out of options ... It's early , so all is calm ...

    If Lee proves himself in minors and gets a call up to the majors this year .... I'd he hits and gets on base it will take the sting out of trading arraez ... The twins need productive hitters and Lee appears to be one , Julien another and Lewis too , let the boys play ... We need some exciting twin baseball and when these players start playing and producing together I think things are going to be exciting and positive ...

    Not a fan of the extra inning rule , it is not really earning the win ... It's been in place since 2020 and it still is taking time to get used to it ... The games of yesteryear were the greatest , baseball has gotten boring recently ... Hope our manager can find a better way to play extra innings with strategy ...

    No real surprise that they are looking for pitching on tge cheap side again , maybe 1 of Santana or hoffman makes the roster out of spring training .... Or they are both dfa'd and pass through waviers and then are depth at AAA .... Where is the confidence in our prospects , there going to be old man before they get an opportunity ...

    Sabato will be eligible for rule 5 draft after this season so it's make or break for him ... Blaze is on 40 man roster and it is also make or break for him ... Cavaco is still young and needs to show he can make contact and hit , big money results in a big head , I remember his interview , ( said he would make the twins team in 4 years ) . He needs to get his head right or he will fail ... We always pick on the first round choices or prospects that climb our top 30 prospect list and then fail , turn us into believers of them and then they disappoint us ...

    If the brain trust believes to start Polanco off slowly because he's not fully healthy in the legs he will be a primary dh as he is a switch hitter ... That would be my plan if Polanco isn't quite 100 percent ... Otherwise it will be a committee of players ... Let's hope Buxton can play the field and just be a centerfielder ...

    I'd agree after reading the article that scenes would be a super pick , maybe a 2 way player * wishful thinking ) ... Wilson as a position player looks very good and his father coached him , sounds similar to last year's pick ...

    I agree totally that it wasn't a good pick in 2020 and it would be nice if he can salvage his career and recoup something for him ... So far he hasn't been mentioned in any trades we have made so it looks like he is more valuable to twins organization ... Let's hope he puts a solid season together this year ...

    Sabato is one of the biggest bust so far in his career , if anyone should go to driveline baseball it should be Sabato and the twins should pay for it ... Known for his bat and no defense , his bat has been stagnant since he started pro ball , can't believe we have to put him on the 40 man roster after this year or expose him to the rule 5 draft ... Only three seasons to evaluate his talents after the 2023 season ... Man does time fly ...

    Will Polanco be on the twins roster in 2024 ... Go ask Correa as he is part of the plan in who stays and who goes ... I like Polanco and always have , a switch hitter is a plus , if your going to replace him apples to apples then brook Lee is the one to take away Polanco's job , Julien isn't a solid defender , Lewis has a strong arm for third , Martin is most likely destined for the outfield ... Polanco will have a solid season in 2023 if his health remains ...

    Offense and pitching is the name of the game ... We got the pitcher in the trade , Cincinnati got some good hitters in steer and encarnacion-strand and LHP pitcher hajjar ... I liked both of those hitters but I'd take Lewis and his potential over steer or strand ...
