My dad (62 years old). Myself (36). Son (9) and Daughter(7) have reentered the baseball card collecting world just with packs from walmart and target over the last year. It made the last year of watching baseball with my kids absolutely awesome and now they are interested in all the teams the twins play. This year at Christmas instead of traditional presents, each kid got to choose a restaurant of their choice with dad and we went and cracked a box of topps chrome or topps stadium club after appetizers. I still remember when my dad pulled a Nolan Ryan Autographed 500 card out of some 0.98$ upper deck when i was little and ended up selling it for 400$. Something about cracking a pack of cards and putting the best in a hard case and the rest in a binder with pages is addicting. Thanks for the article.
