  1. I've heard Greinke really likes being in AZ and may not want to come to MN just based on personal preference. That could be overblown but he has long been known as a bit of an "oddball" to put it politely and could lead to him blocking a potential trade. We'll see!
  2. Great write up Seth! I'm actually pretty excited about the Romo trade. Veteran with playoff experience, great slider, and his hard hit rate is in top 2% of league. As long as they use him right and only match him up against RH he is a good pick up. Disappointed we did not get Diekman, especially given how low the prospect cost was. He was definitely one of my favorite under the radar targets for the Twins. While the walks are a concern everything was elite level stuff for a LHP and I have confidence Wes Johnson could of worked some magic to help him reduce his walks a bit and maybe even throw a bit harder.
  3. A couple of ideas. 1 potentially popular and 1 super unpopular. Trade Schoop + upper minors prospect(s) for Dyson/Will Smith. Trade for Lance Lynn. I've heard from a few different people that he won't cost much. Upside is he is an ace level pitcher (that's how he's pitched the last 12 months). Downside is he reverts to more of a mid rotation guy which is fine. We can still move Perez to the pen.
  4. I like him as a 2nd reliever to target after targeting more elite options such as Giles. We need to get at least 1 elite and 1 very good reliever added to the bullpen for the playoffs. I think we have some good prospects we need to add to the 40 man that would be sufficient to get him with potentially a modest amount of money included by KC. Someone like Jaylin Davis up to a Griffen Jax/Luke Raley type should be doable given his contract cost for next year.
  5. I would put him a hair behind Giles at #2 but those two should be the first ones they check in on.
  6. Nice to see the bats come alive but Perez's and Sano's continued struggles are concerning. Jake Cave also seems to be pressing too much and is essentially a black hole in the line up until Buxton comes back.
