As far as the options goes, the options have already been used on Kirilloff and Rooker just by sending them down, unless they are down for less than 20 days total for the year. I think that is the rule.

I am excited to eventually see Rooker and Kirilloff play for the Twins, but I think Garlick is better than what anybody is giving him credit for. He has tremendous power and destroys left handed pitching. I saw him play once. I think it was the Arizona Fall League. And remember, he came up in the Dodger organization, so he didn't get many MLB opportunities.

Kirby. At one point he was a great CF, too.

I think Jose Miranda has an above average hit tool projection, and also Misael Urbina and Emmanuel Rodriquez.

And don't forget that Kyle Garlick kills left handers. Why do you think the FO held on to him so tight? in case they need the platoon and Rooker needs more seasoning maybe.

I just think they need to let him find that third pitch and fine tune it and the others before they rush him to the big leagues. Rushing him will ruin him.Give him a chance to be a finished product.

Sad to see someone say they don't expect to see their team back to the World Series in their lifetime.

I think he is Joe Musgrove without giving up prospects.

Current Pirates prospect Oneil Cruz is 6' 7" and still a shortstop.

I couldn't believe it at the time. Brunansky was a favorite of mine as well. Really stupid move as far as I could see.

I can see him being the shortstop, but if Donaldson goes down, maybe Polanco goes back to short and Semein to 3B. I think he might be a better fit at 3B than Polanco.

2 things. Maybe Palanco is the one we should be trading. I don't really think Kike Hernandez is more than a short term fill in at shortstop. He is pretty good defensively at 2B, and the outfield corners. He looks less than adequate at 3B, and stretched at shortstop. And he doesn't hit much. In other words, maybe the same as Gonzalez. And if I remember right, he showed some less than stellar defense in last year's World Series at 2B.

Twins aren't done with their offseason so this is pretty premature. I think bot the Twins and White Sox will add more pieces. Maybe even KC and Detroit.

If he's going to pitch in Japan, my guess is he couldn't get a visa to come back into this country.
