  1. Booo. Seriously, Manaea cost nothing and was considered better than Chris. And we lose our only reliable bullpen arm. Bad trade, poor off-season with no real direction. Half compete, half not.
  2. Please no. Padres got Manea for a song, and he is deemed better than Paddock. Our bullpen was bad last year, and only addition was Joe Smoth, so losing Rogers would hurt a lot
  3. I thought that this was what the Bundy signing was. Pretty big failure to address the rotation when all it costed in November was $$
  4. I truly do not understand what they are doing. I would much rather have Garver than Sanchez
  5. This is a good March signing. Not so good considering Rodon is possibly the best starter left available
  6. I would be fine with the Castillo trade, because like previously mentioned Lewis probably isn't playing SS and we have Martin and Miranda. Unfortunately, the only thing on trade rumors about the Twins and Castillo is they are one of the few teams that are not in discussions.
  7. I think between these pitchers and Berrios, maybe the Twins don't have the best pitching coaches in place.
  8. So other than the 1st round picks, it's all been college picks so far. Was kind of hoping for some higher upside picks.
  9. Why would you have Happ start again against them? They hit lefties really well and he just got lit up against them in his last start. Maybe should have been a bullpen game instead and have him start in Anaheim. Pretty much was one anyway.
  10. Gotta be Sano. Used to be must watch at bats. Now it is just waiting for the pop up or more likely K.
  11. I get a kick out of the photo title and blurb when you click the imaging license link.
  12. Yeah, a little baffled by the Garlick over Rooker decision.
  13. Also, Gleeman said Thorpe was "awarded" a 4th option year, so not losing him. Unless he is the waiver candidate.
  14. What could his market possibly have been that it benefited to wait it out? Did someone offer him two years?
  15. I guess I should rephrase my initial disappointment. O still am disappointed. But since he cost market price, as well as everyone else, I'm expecting the payroll to be at least 150
  16. Thought maybe this could have been a minor league deal due to his down year and 10+ era in 2020
  17. I do have a problem with them taking someone after one of their own was taken. Could of just used the 40 man spot to protect them, instead of an active roster spot for the year.
  18. What worries me is that the Dodgers have unlimited resources and try to build up as much depth as possible, yet they still did not resign him.
  19. I can totally see the Twins taking on a salary dump for prospects like the Bailey trade. Said no one ever.
  20. Yuck. Banking on a 40 year old coming back from surgery in mid summer. What could possibly go wrong?
