  • Hangout and Talk Twins, Episode 47

    Jeremy Nygaard

Although there hasn't been a lot going on in Twins Territory, Seth and Jeremy will find plenty to talk about Tuesday night at 9pm.

The search for a new manager appears to be coming to a close, so we'll recap the latest.

Byron Buxton left yesterday's AFL game - and possibly the league soon - after "jamming" his right middle finger. Buxton and Jake Reed were named to the Arizona Fall League's Fall Stars Game earlier in the day. That game takes place on Saturday night.

The Twins have also (slowly) started to make their off-season moves, so we'll talk about those too.

With Talk of Manager Doug Mientkiewicz going to AA Chattanooga - Do you think that the same hitting / pitching coaches should follow prospects throughout the minor leagues or is it better for young prospects to get new perspectives at each level?

As a whole which is better for a group of prospects? -

New teaching styles and perspectives at each level or Hearing the same voice throughout their growth within the system?

Do minor league coaches truly have an impact on development? & If so how in your opinion?

What are the odds that they bring Bruno back as a hitting coach? (I know it depends on who the manager will be).

Are you two going to watching the world series while you're doing the chat tonight?

I mean, come on guys!  It's a big deal!  Why aren't you watching it?

With the Twins pulling Sano out of the winter leagues, do you see this as:

Sano having some sort of setback?

not progressing as fast as they had hoped?

the Twins not wanting to give up control of the rehab of one of their top prospects?

    Please provide some wild speculation.

With Mason Melotakis on the shelf for the next year or so, who are some of the lefty relievers in the system that we should be keeping an eye on? Seems like we have a good stable of righties like Burdi, Jones, Reed and maybe even Pryor.
