I understand there are diversity issues based on lack of numbers in the Twins coaching and managerial positions with minorities. Can you guys name any minority employees within the system who actually coach at any level?

Do you guys feel that diversity is an important aspect moving forward to any new regime? Not neccesarily as the manager, but within the coaching ranks at the MLB and Minor league levels.

I don't like having to hire a Molitor or any other returning coach from the system as an add on for a new outside hire (manager). Whoever they hire should have his guys with him. People he can trust and truly depend on. IMO. Fresh start has to mean fresh start.

I would love to see Doug Mientkiewicz. He was a fun man to watch play 1B. Two questions- how likely is it that he becomes the manager? Do you think he is ready to be the manager of a big league ball club (especially managing pitchers)?

Edit: One more question, is Ron Washington completely out of the running for Gardy's job? Also do you think, Gardy could land in Texas or do you think he takes a year off?

Another question - Would you have fired Gardy? Did Ryan make the right decision?

Final Question - How is your prospect handbook coming along, Seth?

Please compare DM with PM as managers, Souhan had an interesting column on Molitor, and according to him....There is near universal respest for him from younger players and Older players alike

Mientkiewicz has managed two years in his career, the last two in Ft. Myers.

Molitor has never managed in his life.

I think there would be a pretty universal respect for Mientkiewicz as well.
