The Twins were able to maximize Matt Wisler in 2020 by tinkering with his pitch repertoire. Could they give one of their current pitchers that same treatment this season?

Although MLB is in the middle of a lockout, that doesn’t mean baseball as a whole is shut down. If you find yourself missing baseball, I would highly suggest getting into college baseball. There are nearly 300 Division I baseball programs in the country, so you surely should be able to find a team to root for, wherever you may live.

One of the pastimes that is most celebrated in the baseball community is the ranking of prospects. Beyond producing more online bickering content, these lists provide a useful way to compare the quality of prospects across each team’s system. But there might be a different way we should be valuing the prospects in a single franchise.

The MLB season has already been delayed and it's about to get delayed further, meaning that major-leaguers and 40-man rostered prospects will continue to be off our radar for awhile.

In the meantime, let's turn our focus to those players who are in Fort Myers and gearing up for minor-league  seasons that will get underway in one month.

There’s no denying the Minnesota Twins are going to make at least one trade prior to the August 2nd deadline. What level of moves they make are yet to be seen, but if you want them to acquire something of substance, it will come with a cost. Are you really ok with either Alex Kirilloff or Jose Miranda being moved?

The Twins have two stellar rookie pitchers that have made strong cases to be All Stars this summer in Los Angeles at Dodger Stadium. It's still a toss up on which one will make it, so who stands the better case to be an all star this year between Joe Ryan and Jhoan Duran? 

Although we don’t yet have baseball in 2022, it’s more than fair to assume an entire season will not be lost. When Major League Baseball decides to lift the lockout, and we get back to action, how do a few Minnesota Twins respond in relation to their 2021 production?

This weekend, the Twins have a roster deadline. Building their list of eligible players will be an interesting exercise.

This week, MLB came right out and said that they’re attempting to deaden the baseball in 2021. It’s fair to expect that the Twins could feel the effects of this change, but which hitters could be punished the most?

What started out as a pitcher's duel turned into an ugly loss and series loss to the White Sox. The Twins enter the All-Star Break 50-44, still leading the AL Central by two games over Cleveland but certainly showed they need a break to rest and recuperate after Sunday’s brutal loss.
