The Athletic’s intrepid reporter Ken Rosenthal sent the imaginations of trade enthusiasts — myself a representative of the club — aflurry when he speculated in his Friday column that the Minnesota Twins may try to bring in a shortstop this offseason.

According to Tommy Birch from the Des Moines Register, the Twins have acquired Giants relief pitcher Sam Dyson from the Giants.

The Twins traded OF Jaylin Davis and right-handed pitchers Kai-Wei Teng and Prelander Berroa.

For the past handful of seasons, Taylor Rogers has been the shining star in the Minnesota Twins bullpen. After a few rough outings to start the 2020 season, though, it’s time to evaluate where Taylor Rogers fits in with the bullpen pecking order and if it’s time for a changing of the guard.

Mookie Betts and David Price have finally been traded. They're headed to the Dodgers, but the Twins are involved in the deal. According to Ken Rosenthal, the Twins have acquired Kenta Maeda from the Dodgers in exchange for Brusdar Graterol. Graterol is expected to then be dealt to the Red Sox in this multi-team deal.

The deals are all pending physicals.
