Buxton, Lewis, Miranda, Polanco, Arraez.  Seems like we've developed a few players.  Not even throwing in guys like Kirilloff or Larnach yet.

Buxton, Miranda, Polanco, Arraez, and AK all here before this FO got here. Larnach and Lewis (basically given to them with the first pick) haven't done anything yet, except give big hope to the fans. So there is Jeffers, Ober, and Duran and who else? I am talking about players that have done something not guys that may do something (like Winder and Alcala)

I assume because they are developing unheralded pitchers seemingly from nowhere?

In that regard, Milwaukee looks pretty identical to Cleveland prior to hiring Falvey.

Brewers got Contreras for its #8 prospect.

So they get no credit for Miranda and Arraez becoming good? None? Even though they've sunk lots of money and time into improving things? They also get no credit for trading for Ryan, because he wasn't in the system? Or trading the 18th pick, essentially, for two or three years of Gray?

When the previous FO left you'd have only mentioned Buxton & Polanco among those you're listing as being developed by them.  Same would apply here.  Folks on here roasted them and yet when we won back to back division titles most of the roster were guys they brought in.  Got to play the long game and most baseball fans don't have the patience to do so.

This started with me saying "If you aren't gong to play in that end of the pool you have to develop those players and as of now this FO hasn't show that ability,"

His response was "Buxton, Lewis, Miranda, Polanco, Arraez.  Seems like we've developed a few players.  Not even throwing in guys like Kirilloff or Larnach yet."

As you can see I pointed out 5 of those 7 where already in the twins minor leagues and Lewis was handed to them with the first round (and as of today has done next to nothing in the majors) then I actually pointed out a few of the current FO draft picks/young guys traded for that could count as having done something in the majors (that list is pretty short).

But to answer your question, if they get credit for Miranda and Arraez, do they get blame for Gonzo, Romero, Jay, Stewart,  and others for failing? If your response is they failed everywhere, couldn't it be said that Miranda and Arraez would succeed anywhere?

Do they get credit for developing Ryan, hard no; they do get credit for a seemingly brilliant trade though. Trading prospects for legit players isn't developing so again on Gray sure they get credit for a decent trade (which they have had a few), but that wasn't the point that started this.

I think attendance will be a key factor. If we start to see Oakland crowds here...then, the end could be near. Yes, the pandemic has had a big effect on that too, but successful teams draw people. I'm not a fan of Falvey and Levine, but I also don't think things will change very much with the Pohlad ownership. They not in baseball to win.

I am hopeful the attendance/TV viewership plummets enough they consider selling. I don't really understand why they haven't. Their was language in the Target Field legislation that made them pay a fee to the stadium commission if they sold, but that's been expired for at least two years (and had a declining balance making it minimal the 2-3 years before that). Jim seems detached and mostly disinterested. They would make a huge profit. Why keep it?

Because they are making all kinds of cash right now? Because they actually like owning the team? It gives them a company to let their grandkids run for something to do? Who knows.

Not sure where to go on this. We never had a chance of resigning cc. We have good catcher from Astros/farmer is stop gap once Royce gets back gallo is iffy hopefully he can have great year. Our line isn’t that bad but as always need to stay healthy same with pitching. Need our starters to go deep into game6-7 innings and bullpen must must must improve. As I said 75-78’wins this year with hopes of 82 wins. Realistic it’s going to be about 2 years. I’ll always support the twins no matter what win or lose

If I'm mad at Falvine it's because they so clearly played along with Boras and Correa's gambit. I don't like that they got into the shady deals of MrB. I'm sure it has a lot to do with building bridges toward a future where they might get to keep Lewis.

They signed Correa to that pillowy pillow contract at the behest of Boras. They allowed Correa to walk around acting like some sort of leader, and then pretended to try to bring him back. They even did a bunch of interviews talking about it.

Joey Gallo is proof why you don't negotiate with criminals. Once Boras knew they would step to his finger snaps, he sent over another rebuild candidate. Watch Gallo play well for the twins and then sign a 5 year 220 mil deal for the mets next year to pinch hit.

But their non Boras stuff has been pretty solid.
