Nope, he actually was an outfielder exclusively in 2010-2011 (no data available for the Appy League on MiLB.com).  He played some outfield in both 2012 and 2014, but only 2B in 2013.  In 2015 he played exclusively in the outfield, and was then promoted to MLB.  For his MiLB career, Eddie actually has twice as many innings at 2B as at all other positions combined.

I will start over-- All i was really trying to do was compare Gordon and Eddie as both being very unpredictable where ever they play,,  if Gordon can work on his accuracy throwing , even more so,

We must be cursed or something with our starting pitchers. Mahle makes three starts, then has this shoulder issue pop up again. He was on the IL in early July with Cincy with a strained shoulder issue too, before we got him. They did an MRI there and he had irritation/inflammation then. Let's hope a little rest takes care of it.

Yes, I do stand corrected on the when. The larger point is that Rosario was not thrown into a new position when he came to the majors as Gordon was last year.

They're saying Mahle left with "right shoulder fatigue".  Sounds potentially ominous. Just hope it's the kind of thing that 15 days of rest can solve.

Mahle was on the IL with a shoulder issue prior to the trade deadline and was activated in time to make a couple starts. Sounds a lot like a recurrence, which doesn't make it any more or less ominous.

I'm beginning to suspect KC isn't all that good at the hitting part of the game.....

2 runs in 3 games, both of which came in the same inning. Pathetic.

Literally haven't watched a single pitch of this series. I'm not going to call myself the most die hard baseball fan in existence, but if I have almost zero interest in tuning in to 3 Twins games in August while they're in a three way fight for 1st place in the division baseball has a problem...

Nice to see Duran work out of a jam unscathed. With an off day tomorrow I see no problem in everyone getting in a little work today.   That being said...there are still 6 outs to get.  Who's going to get them?

I'd imagine Megill will get the eighth with Lopez on board for the ninth. Extra inning options would be Fulmer and Sands, who both pitched an inning yesterday.

That makes the most sense at this point in the game.  so of course Rocco ??

I'm going to question how Mahle was allowed to even start this game, much less pitch into the 3rd inning.

Velocity off by that much isn't something that can be benignly explained. And it had to have showed up during his warmup. If not then, which I don't understand, at least by the 1st hitter.

For an organization that treats players with extreme caution, no less.

That seems pretty negligent to me.

Seems to me there's always a great deal of flux in Twins pitching, and significant is how may times they pick somebody up to fill here or there but  in short order they have a sustained injury problem. How true is this of major league pitching in general. (I can't keep track).

How many days until he next scheduled start?  Hopefully that is all he needs but if he needs more time can he go  to the IL list and back-date to today.   Goodness we have 0 luck or people who do not know what they are doing.  I has only be 2+ weeks since we got him right?

Megill is oh-so-close to being a real pen weapon. Just a little more command, and he's gonna be a nice find.

He's already pretty decent.

And winnah.

Agree, but I’m not really sold on his breaking pitches.
